We offer this climb and practically anyone can do it, a great add on to an Everest Base Camp trek for those wanting a little more mountain adventure: everestexperts.com/islandpeak

Trekking in Himalaya Nepal
Experiencing the Himalaya with Alpine Explore Nepal, on trek and tours in Nepal.
Best Hiking in World is one flight from Kathmandu (Everest)
If you're planning a trip to Nepal, or Kathmandu, or whether you're thinking of climbing Mt Everest, or just want the best hiking experience ever, you should head to Everest National Park.
We went hiking Mt Everest solo and didn't have any issues whatsoever. This is because the trail is extremely built up - there are literal towns all along the path that have everything you could ever need.
Hotels are strictly $5 per night, unless you stay at something fancy.
Most meals are between $10-15, and you can grab a beer as well.
We started in Lukla, and made our way past Namche Bazaar to Hotel Everest View - which used to be in the Guinness Book for the world's highest elevation hotel (it's now sitting at 3rd place).
This was only a 5 day hike for us, but you can make it a 12 day hike if you want to go all the way to Everest Base Camp and back (very leisurely pace).
The scenery is beautiful, the people are kind, and the weather, though rapidly changing, is usually quite nice.

Twenty Day Trek to Everest Basecamp (4K)
Short video created from footage i shot while Trekking in Nepal during October 2017. Make sure to watch in 4K for full experience.
We chose to take the path less-traveled, and began our adventure in Jiri, 160 km from Mount Everest Base Camp through jungles and mountains. Following in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay the First to summit Mount Everest in 1953.
After this section of the walk we continued on Past Lukla where you find yourself surrounded by the biggest mountains in the world. We pushed for a challenge and did the three passes trek. Sadly the first pass was impassable because of a crevasse in a glacier. We trekked onto Gorak Shep where we climbed up Kala Patthar for some incredible views and then went for a very cold sunrise walk to Everest Base Camp.
After Visiting Everest Base Camp we went on to complete two of the three passes. Cho La and Renjo La pass which were both a huge challenge but very rewarding at the top. The trip then continued on back down the mountains to Lukla where we flew out of the world's most dangerous airport back to Kathmandu. Landing in Kathmandu we were Happy to see civilization and food other than dhal bhat after 19 days of trekking.
Thanks to Lewis Urquhart, George Grover, Aza Nichol-Hawkes and our very cool guide Lopsang who made the trek as good as it was.
