ION LRT Testing at Fairview Mall Terminal in Kitchener, Ontario
So a couple of weeks ago I release some video of the LRT in
action which you can see here
Well this is the footage I had of the ION LRT Testing on the
same day at the Wilson Ave crossing by the Fairview Park
Terminal. (May 24, 2019 or May 25, 2019 I've had some problem
with my video timestamps)
I made them two parts because it would have been way to big of
a video to have made and they are also slightly different in
feel.
This video is more traditionally align with the usual videos I
make, but I've added a couple of new features people have
sugguested to me from past videos.
First I've added some Google Earth Maps animations and
secondly everybody knows I generally don't talk too much, but
this is what your getting. MORE TALK!!
I hope these feature will satisfy my regulars and open the
doors for new and more exciting content.
Lastly don't forgot to leave your comments, likes and
dislikes.
I really do read these and I use these to make better content
with future videos!!

Kitchener Communities, Kingsdale: Fairview:Fairway Area. In this video we’re going to tour around the Kingsdale area of Kitchener. This area is loaded with affordable real estate, schools, that we’ll touch on in this video, and a ton of big box stores and restaurants.
When you hear people refer to this Kitchener neighbourhood Kingsdale, you’ll likely hear them say the Fairview or Fairway area as this community sits right behind Fairview Park Mall. We’re just off the expressway and only about a five minute drive from the 401. There’s a ton to do in Kitchener Kingsdale, Fairway/Fairview area with a massive theatre just across from the mall, a bunch of indoor and outdoor spots to stay active, and some pretty great shopping.

Kitchener, Ontario: Driving Around Downtown (2017)
A drive through downtown Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on August 8, 2017. Starting on Victoria Street, we turn left on King Street, traveling the length of downtown before turning right on Madison Ave. and right again on Charles Street to travel back to Victoria Street. We then turn right onto Duke Street to complete the tour.
Kitchener, Ontario is a city located 100 kilometres west of Toronto. Now the seat of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Kitchener was founded in 1833 and incorporated as the town of Berlin in 1853. Incorporation as a city came in 1912 and the Berlin name stuck until 1916.
The population of Kitchener is 233,000 (up from 150,000 in 1986) and the metro population is around 525,000 with that number including Waterloo and Cambridge.
Seen throughout the video is the Grand River Transit's Light Rail Transit line. This system of electric trains is slated to start operation in 2018. The downtown portion looks to be mostly complete. The LRT will connect Conestoga Mall in Waterloo to Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener via a 19 KM line. In the end, their will be 36 kilometres of rail line with 22 stops connecting the three major centres of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.
