We had to wait so long for the wind to come in right that the
old GoPro Hero3 white battery ran out. I'm told that model of
battery is no longer made and that I now have to buy a new
GoPro with the new model battery. Does anyone know if that
is correct. If it is I don't think that I can stick with a GoPro camera.

My everyday challenge to do something outside of my comfort zone has led me to; learning different ideas & ways of living, exploring places I couldn't even imagine before and to making friends that will forever hold a place in my heart. A simple hello opens the doors to several opportunities. I loved experiencing Byron Bay for what it is- full of love , beauty and excitement. Hang gliding was an awesome experience-- surprisingly more peaceful than thrilling.

Byron Bay is a beachside town located in the far-northeastern corner of the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 772 kilometres (480 mi) north of Sydney and 165 kilometres (103 mi) south of Brisbane. Cape Byron, a headland adjacent to the town, is the easternmost point of mainland Australia. At the 2006 Census, the town had a permanent population of 4,981.[1] The town is in turn the nucleus of Byron Shire, which has in excess of 28,000 residents.[2]
The local Arakwal Aboriginal people's name for the area is Cavvanbah, meaning meeting place.[3] Captain James Cook named Cape Byron after John Byron, circumnavigator of the world and grandfather of the poet, Lord Byron.[4]
