3-Day Malaga Food Binge! || Where to eat in the Costa del Sol Capital!
For three days I stuff myself silly in and around Malaga, capital of the much lauded/hated Costa del Sol.
We start off in Torremolinos and then head into Malaga where for one day I binge with my cousin, then I binge with Devour Malaga Food Tours, then I binge by myself.
There's a lot of binging.
I sadly ran out of time to to go the beach and eat espeto and fried fish; but hopefully this video provides an insight into the real Malaga away from the waterside promenades.

The apartment AirBNB paid for and a Spanish Food Tour! | Málaga, Spain
After our nightmare experience with the first Málaga AirBNB, we were more than happy to give Málaga a chance to redeem itself with food. We splurged on a food tour that took us to the oldest tavern in Málaga where we had moscatel, had cheese, jamón iberico, jamón secreto, gambas, and even some Spanish wines. And, of course, we topped the night off with ice cream. Along with the amazing AirBNB that we were given, this was a great way to reset our Málaga trip and have a much better first day in what would be one of our favourite places.

It's hard not to like this city! | Málaga, Spain
Our appetites whetted by yesterday's food tour, we were determined to find out what to eat in Málaga, starting with my favourite: churros! We stopped by the Atarazanas Market to have lunch, headed home for a siesta, and then had dinner (and gelato) at the chiringuitos (open restaurants/bars) by the Plaza de a la Malagueta beach. I gotta tell you, Málaga set the bar extremely high for our first city in Spain together-- a relief after the horrible AirBNB experience we had the first night there!

The Best Churros in Málaga | Málaga, Spain
We chose to start our last day in Málaga with a churros double-breakfast to get our fill of Spanish food in Málaga. We then went to the Picasso Museum to learn more about Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, talked to some locals, and managed to come home with our bags bursting with turrones (sweet Spanish treats made of almonds).

MÁLAGA CITY (2018) COSTA DEL SOL- Nightlife, Bars & Restaurants
We start this Malaga City walking tour by Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga (Malaga Cathedral.) Lit up at night, this is high on the Malaga top ten things to see.
As we turn down Calle Santa Maria, we encounter some of the Malaga City restaurants and shops before arriving at Constitution Square, (Plaza de la Constitución.) A canopy of lights covers the Calle Marqués de Larios as it leads down towards the seafront - offering a chance for a bit of Malaga night shopping.
We however, take a wander through the small sides, passing some of the many Malaga City bars - experiencing Malaga's nightlife as we head towards the many bars and cafes on Plaza de la Merced.
If you're wondering what the weather is like in January/February this will give you an idea.
How do we afford to travel so often? We're lucky enough to stay for almost free in every city, using
