This is where,as the legend tells us, the Golem of Prague is born. I made this miniature of cardboard box to help me make better drawings in the settings. It's still work in progress.

St Peters-On-The-Wall Chapel, Bradwell (360)
The oldest church in Essex, and one of the oldest in the UK. Was built in the mid-600's in the Saxon era, on the site of a former Roman fort.
Being isolated and on the nearby coast, the chapel would have been easy pickings for marauding Vikings, and after the 1400/1500's was left in a state of ruin. Today it is a place of pilgrimage for a local Christian organisation.
The music being played here is by Aelfric, a Saxon music band (although is actually a much earlier pagan example of Saxon music.)

KraftwerkX (abandoned place)
Procházení samotné lokace i s focením nám pak zabralo dalších 7 hodin. Ono dvacet-šest pater je pořád dvacet-šest pater.
Four days in prague, Czech Republic - Get inspired
Finally a city of the east europe that missed in my travel list: PRAGUE!
Me and my two friends during our Easter break have decided to spend four days away from the routine of every day in this beautiful city.
As always we have appraised all the offers and we have opted for an easyjet flight and, among all the hostels, our choice has reverted on the downtown hostel in which we found a pleasant environment, great and clean rooms with a beautiful sight and where we have met so many amazing friends.
We have quietly visited the city in this way:
1) the first day we have walked for the streets of the old town and along the charles bridge. We have also seen the dancing house and walked on the shores of the river. In the evening we have opted for something calm because of the trip and we have chosen one of the typical Czech cafes for a beer (chep and so good).
2) the second day we have started with a walking free tour that has told us some places and important monuments that we could visit later and also some curiosities and information. In the afternoon we have gone to visit the castle of prague and the underlying district (mala strana) where you can find the wall of jhon lennon (not to lose!). In the evening, after a healthy vapiano pizza, we have spent the night in the common room of the hostel with some new friend.
3) the third day we have decided to visit the Jewish district, that the guide of the free waking tour showed us, in the morning (with an only ticket the synagogues, the memorial and the cemetery can be all visited except the synagogue in Jerusalem that is found near the station and it has a different ticket). In the afternoon we have made a trip out in a city near prague:kutna hora. This small city is very beautiful, typical and with two spectacular cathedrals (ossario of sedlec and holy Barbaric), it is worth of it.
4) The last day we have decided to get lost in this beautiful city with a walk between its beauties without a destination. We have also returned to the castle to admire the panorama with the sun.
Praga is a beautiful, interesting and ancient city with a vampire vein, typical of the cities of the east in my opinion. I hope to return there one day, even for another university break and even in the summer! .

Olomouc is said to occupy a site of a Roman fort founded in the imperial period, the original name of which, Mons Julii, would have been gradually corrupted to the present form. Though this is just a legend, archaeological excavations revealed remains of a Roman military camp close to the city.
Olomouc became one of the most important settlements in Moravia in the Middle Ages. The city itself was founded in mid-thirteenth century and became one of the most important trade and power centres in the region. In the Middle Ages it was the biggest town in Moravia and competed with Brno for the position of the capital. Olomouc lost finally after the Swedes took the city for eight years (1642-1650).
The second half of the fifteenth century is what can be viewed as the start of Olomouc's golden age. However, during the Thirty Years' War, in 1640, Olomouc was occupied by the Swedes for eight years. They left the city in ruins and so it ceded its position to Brno. Olomouc was then fortified by Maria Theresa during the wars with Frederick the Great, who besieged the city unsuccessfully for seven weeks in 1758. In 1848 Olomouc was the scene of the emperor Ferdinand's abdication, and in 1850 an important conference between Austrian and German statesmen called Punctation of Olmütz took place here. At the conference German Confederation was restored and Prussia submitted its leadership to the Austrians.
