Frogtown Cellars - Dahlonega GA
#frogtowncellars #georgiavineyards #georgiawine There are a number of vineyards throughout Georgia. Several have been a staple for the area and Frogtown Cellars is one of these. Entering this well established winemaker, you are struck by the beauty of both the vast vineyards as well as its amazing tasting room and restaurant. You can't help but notice the mature vineyards as they stretch throughout the rolling hills with the mountain peaks in the distance. You just walk outside in one of those wow moments. Then you step inside the tasting room and just stop. The two-story post and beam structure is just something to behold.
But, we came to taste wine. And Frogtown Cellars has great wine. I'll admit, I was a bit of wine snob for a while, thinking the only wine one should drink should be made from a single grape variety. I was wrong. First visiting Serenity Vineyards another North Georgia wine maker who makes great Italian bends, I realized there's another whole world to wine. Frogtown too is a winemaker who has taken the blending of wines to an art from. My favorite from the day was their 404 5th Reload, a delicious red blend.
One last point about wine tasting and specifically Frogtown Cellars. It should be fun. You want to feel welcome. And equally important, you want to be served by someone who has knowledge about their wines. Frogtown hit all three. Todd made our tasting such an enjoyable experience and shared an abundance about the wine and vineyard.
So treat both your eyes and your taste buds to Frogtown Cellars. Another great North Georgia Vineyard you'll want to add to your travel destinations.

Three Sisters Vineyards - Dahlonega GA
$threesistersvineyards #georgiavineyards #georgiawines We have created the series after all of the fun we had last year touring the North Georgia Wine Region. Joan and I are not wine connoisseurs and our formula for wine is very simple - if we like it, we'll drink it. And one thing is for sure, we love the wines in North Georgia and especially Three Sisters Vineyards.
Part of what make Georgia wine so interesting is the farm environment. All the tasting rooms we've visited are in the vineyards. Many were working farms of one sort or another prior to becoming a vineyard. This casual, homey atmosphere welcomes you to the vineyard and then there's the tasting.
Three Sisters is the oldest commercial vineyard and winery in North Georgia. The wines are 100% made from grapes grown at this vineyard. Each sampled (and bought!) we very good. I (Jerry) like earthy, woody reds and Joan likes anything sweet. Three Sisters makes enough varieties to make both of us happy. The wine bar car be very social if you want it to be. Easy to strike up a conversation about the wines and travel. We even met a couple who are RV full timers and iLoveRVlife viewers.
As with many of the vineyards, Three Sisters is a popular wedding destination. I'll leave the explanation to the video. Just trust me on this one - Stunning!
Hope you get a chance to come to North Georgia and experience these wonderful vineyards and Three Sisters should be at the top of your list.

North Georgia Wineries with my Bitches Vlog || Bovoyage Bitches
To all my alcoholics like me,
CAN I GET A HELL YEAH? ha, jk I'm not an alcoholic, I just really love drinking with my frands.
Anyways, I wanted to take you on a little drunken journey through the rolling hills of North Georgia as we sipped our way through 4 different wineries. This is pretty much become a regular thing to visit because there are so many!! This time around we visited some of our favorites and tried a few new ones!
1. Serenity Cellars: A cute, quaint winery that's has the best little patio for sippin wine.
2. Yonah Mountain Vineyard: One of our fav! This huge vineyard is home to some amazing wine, a wedding venue and will even take you on a comprehensive wine tour!
3. The Cottages: Another small town fav. Although not huge, the sweet muscadine wines and view is sure to keep you here for hours.
4. Monteluce: The Tuscan inspired vineyard that just oozes luxury. PLUS a big menu if you want to enjoy a romantic evening on their patio.
I've wrote about most of these before, so read up on them and sip (or stumble) your way through the North Georgia Wineries

Top Wedding Destination in Georgia: Montaluce Winery
When searching for an outdoor wedding destination in Georgia, we decided it was best to focus beyond the city of Atlanta. With such beauty to explore in my own home state, it's no wonder, our wedding destination search ended with us choosing Montaluce Winery.
We were astonished just driving up to Montaluce Winery because there are privately-owned villas on the property and it literally looks like you made a trip to Tuscany. The grounds are well kept and the service is out of this world. This was our wedding venue.

Germany In Georgia: The World’s Longest Running Oktoberfest is in Helen, GA (Yes, Really)
Erick is in for a treat at Helen, GA’s Oktoberfest and it appears he might need an outfit change. Erick learns from Helen Oktoberfest’s executive director, Renee Chacon, that the city used to be a failing lumber town and needed some help to keep it alive, which is why it is now known for its Bavarian-style building. The town now holds the world record for longest-running Oktoberfest of 48 years.

Ep. 513 Taking Georgia's Slow Lane - Tennessee Valley Uncharted
Erick makes a trip to Georgia to see what its northern region has to offer. First he visits Helen, a town that looks more like Germany than the Southern United States. There he meets up with local photographer Jordan Tribble, and they take part in the food, drink, and dancing of Helen’s Oktoberfest. Then, it’s off to Dahlonega to wander the scenic vineyards of Frogtown Cellars. Erick talks and drinks with the owner, and he is amazed to learn how the South can produce some of the most delicious and award-winning wines. The beautiful landscapes and relaxation continue as he kayaks on the Toccoa with TVA’s Amy Blankenship. As he floats on the water with nothing but nature around him, Erick quickly finds out why this section of the river is Amy’s all-time favorite. He then discovers another hidden treasure (in the most literal sense of the term) when he explores the tunnels of Consolidated Gold Mine. Not only does he get a sense of how miners here used to do their work, but he also gets to pan for gold! Last is a stop at Mercier Orchards, a family-run orchard that produces over 50 varieties of apples. During conversations, treats, and cider with the marketing coordinator and the orchard manager, Erick is reminded of the importance of slowing down to enjoy life’s little moments.
