Sea Kayaking Baja Mexico
Mexico is home to 10% of the worlds wildlife and almost 40% of the world's species of whales and dolphins. The sea is clear and warm and you don’t need a drysuit. Discover why one woman makes her annual migration down to Baja to kayak, surf and star gaze. Join her at surf camp, in Loreto and on a remote 14 day trip around the 2nd biggest island in the Sea of Cortez. There’s a reason why Ginni Callahan says ‘It’s an addiction!’ but she doesn’t want a cure. With stunning drone footage, wildlife galore and good humor, this is the first film by Justine Curgenven in 3 years.

La Paz
La Paz is undoubtedly a place that offers top quality services without losing the charm of a small city, safe and welcoming, but cosmopolitan at the same time, surely a city that covers all your needs. It is the perfect place to enjoy beaches, landscapes, water activities, adventure and promenades almost exclusively, thanks to its tranquility and unique features that make it a place away from the hustle and bustle.
Here you can enjoy activities such as sighting of the gray whale, swimming with whale sharks or diving and snorkeling at Espíritu Santo Island. You can also take a quiet walk visiting the De Todos Santos “Magical Town” and its majestic surroundings.
Baja California Sur is the paradise for sports lovers and the wild life, its climate is an earthly paradise for surfers and allows games of golf all year round, boat trips to the island Espiritu Santo for whale watching and swimming with sea lions. Its pristine beaches are excellent for water sports and also in Cabo Plumo, you can go diving in coral reefs.
Baja California Sur has a variety of dishes to suit all tastes that are sure to delight all visitors. Margarita made with local herbs to which aphrodisiac properties are attributed. You cannot leave and not taste mackerel marinated in white wine, stuffed with shrimp and topped with basil sauce and accompanied by Granada. Burnt Clam (Almeja tatemada) Dish typical from the region of Loreto, these oversized clams are cooked over a bonfire on the beach.

FREEDIVING WITH SEA LIONS for Christmas ???????? in La Paz, Mexico
This Christmas is very special for us, since it’s the first we’re spending abroad. And we got ourselves a little present – a close encounter with La Paz’s most playful inhabitants ????. There’s a colony of around 500 sea lions living around an hour boat ride from the city, on the small island group called Los Islotes. Currently, the youngsters are about half a year old and very curious, playful and a little naughty. While snorkeling with them, it’s not unusual, if they bite into your fins, your hair or try to steel your snorkel. You might even get a fishy sea lion kiss ????.
Additionally, there’s a huge school of sardines living here, which makes freediving even more fun. Cormorants and pelicans are fishing for them in the waves. Los Islotes is a place for scuba diving and snorkeling, but the sea lions seem to be interacting more with the snorkelers in our opinion. Anyhow, make sure to pick an operator that doesn’t bring too many people on the trip, because most of the sea lion pups play in a cave, in which it can get pretty crowded easily.
Aren’t they the cutest? Have you ever been in the water with sea lions, or is it still on your bucket list ?????
Hope you’re having an awesome time with your loved ones! Enjoy the holidays ????????!
Hugs from La Paz!
