Fundy Tide Runners - Whale Watching. Humpbacks breaching AMAZING!!!
During our trip to Canada (August 2018) we visited St. Andrews NB Canada where we went whale watching with a company called Fundy Tide Runners. It was a bucket list experience. We saw Harbor Seals, Humpback whales breaching and tail slapping. To top it all off we saw a Basking Shark swim right under the boat!

Fundy Tide Runners | Exploring the Bay of Fundy in Saint Andrews, NB
During my trip to Saint Andrews in New Brunswick my girlfriend and I went on a whale watching excursion with Fundy Tide Runners.
While we did see a few whales and other sea life my GoPro wasn't able to pick up any of the finer details of what we saw although I did want to share the experience that I had so that you can get a better idea of what to expect if you head out into the Bay of Fundy with Fundy Tide Runners.
We did happen to see a few whales breach the surface as well as some seals, porpoises, a bald eagle or two, and quite a few other birds native to the area.
Unfortunately we were unable to catch the much-anticipated “whale jump” and we also never saw the whale tail either but it was still a fun and enjoyable experience nonetheless.
For whale watching you might be better off with one of the larger boats because you'll have a better vantage point higher up above the whale so you'll see more of it while it's in the water. The larger boats also move much slower so you'll stick around longer once you spot a whale and this increases your chances of seeing a jump or seeing the tail.
However, the experience with Fundy Tide Runners on the high-speed Zodiac boat was incredible and it's amazing just zooming over the water at high speeds with the wind blowing in your hair.
Overall, my girlfriend and I had an amazing experience with Fundy Tide Runners and although we got unlucky with the whale watching I would still definitely recommend them if you're ever visiting Saint Andrews and looking for something fun to do.

St. Andrews - Whale Watching Trip - Dolphins
Video from a whale watching trip off of St. Andrews (New Brunswick, Canada). There are many operators (businesses) in St. Andrews, all co-located on a single pier. We went on a fast boat trip operated by 'Fundy Tide Runners' - and have not regretted the choice! This company operates small fast boats - former rescue boats used by coast guard. These boats are extremely fast and powerful, but at the same time - very reliable and safe. The captain takes tourists far into the open Bay of Fundy - where they know whales can be seen. During this trip, we saw seals (harbour seals), dolphins and two Fin Whales. This short video is made during one stop near a school of dolphins.
