Guided Bird-Watching in Pipeline Road - Gamboa Rainforest Resort
One of the activities available at our resort is, as the title of this video says, a guided bird-watching tour on the nearby Pipeline Road--Panama's most famous birding destination. The man on the left, wearing khaki, is one of our guides. As you can see--or in this case, hear--it's a quiet experience as bird watching should be.

Gamboa Rainforest Resort Aerial Tram Tour in Panama
The glide through the jungle on the Aerial Tram allowed us to see the rainforest. Our tour limited our animal watching excursion due to the heavy rain. However, we were lucky to view a toucan.
Viewing the forest from the top of the Swiss-engineered aerial tram system was breathtaking. Gliding smoothly through the treetops, we experienced the wildlife sounds and peace of the tropical rainforest firsthand.
A Gamboa’s tour guide accompanied us throughout the entire tour. The 1.2-kilometer (3/4 mile) ride culminates at a hilltop where we had the opportunity to visit the Observation Tower. After walking up the spiral ramp, we experienced a panoramic view of the:
Chagres River
Panama Canal
Embera Indigenous Village
Town of Gamboa

Lake Gatun Panama/ Gamboa Rainforest Boat Tour
The highlight of our trip down Lake Gatun was when the Geoffroy's Tamarin Monkeys boarded our boat. The lake is a part of the Panama Canal and was once the largest manmade lake in the world. While touring Lake Gatun we saw many large and small vessels. The surrounding rainforest is theming with wild life such as , crocodiles, approx. 5 species of monkeys, sloths, birds, insects, reptiles etc.

Gamboa Panama and Jungleland Lodge part 1
After a trip to Panama City, Panama for work, I took an extra day to go visit the Jungleland Lodge in Gamboa, Panama. The lodge sets floating in an isolated cove on Gatun Lake and is like nothing I've ever visited before. Capt. Carl , the owner, was a great host and a wealth of knowledge. My only regret is that I didn't say longer.

As every year, we setup a nativity scene at the lobby for the enjoyment of our guests. And as every year, it was made with contributions from members of our staff.

Panama 2015 : Gamboa Rainforest Resort

many exhibits devoted to the forest eco-system, including the orchid
garden, butterfly display, and serpentarium.Gamboa Rain Forest Resort. We then boarded the aerial tram for the
approximately 20-minute ascent through the forest canopy as the guide
provides narration. At the top, there was an optional walk to the observation
