It's a really beautiful little Island with a real unique feel to it. There are several popular little islands off the the coast of Jeju island and Gapado is one the more special ones.

Udo 우도 Island Adventure - Jeju Island Korea
Thank you for watching my video on my trip to Udo Island! Living on Jeju Island gives me easy access to this small, but beautiful island. Udo Island is a very popular spot for tourists, but is still big enough to find your own little area on the Island away from all the tourists. I have visited Udo Island two times and this was my third time! It's a great place to relax and get more of a feel for the culture out here. If you have the time while visiting Jeju Island, try to make your way out to Udo Island as well!

(K-WAVE : Travel) Korean scenery - Jeju Gapado Island (제주도 가파도, 加波岛, 加波島))
Gapado Island is 5.5 km away from Moseulpo Port, south of Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do.
Dutchman Hendrik Hamel stumbled upon the shores of Jeju-do and later introduced the island to the West. The island has a monument for Hamel, set up to honor his contributions to Jeju. Gapa Green Barley Festival is held every year in May, and a ferry also runs from Moseulpo Port to Gapado Island, and operates two times a day.

가파도는 제주도에서 2.2 km 남쪽에 있는 섬으로, 행정구역상 제주특별자치도 서귀포시 대정읍 가파리이다. 섬의 면적은 0.9 km²이고, 인구는 240여명이다.
최고봉은 약 20m로 구릉이 거의 없이 평탄하며, 해안은 대부분 암석해안을 이루고 있다. 땅이 매우 평평해 농사를 짓기 좋은 환경이므로 섬 안의 농경지는 대부분 청보리밭이고, 낚시터를 비롯하여 식당, 숙박업소가 갖추어져 있다. 해안선을 따라 자전거도로와 올레길이 나있고, 과거에 비해 인지도가 높아져 관광객 방문이 늘고 있다.

학명은? Hydrangea paniculata Siebold .
7~8월경 백색, 연두색꽃, 붉은색꽃 원뿔모양꽃차례
꽃말은? 성남, 변덕스러움
키는 2 ~ 3m. 관상용.
산방꽃차례로 빽빽하게 무리지어 핀다
꽃잎은 4~5장, 꽃이 피면서 곧 떨어지고, 4~5장의 커다란 꽃받침잎이 꽃잎처럼 보인다.
반그늘지고 습하고 기름진 토양에서 잘 자란다.
뿌리는 깊게 내리지 않고 추위아 가뭄에 약하다.
생약명? 팔선화(八仙花)
수국의 학명 Hydrangea는 그리스어로 '물'이라는 뜻이며, macrophylla는 '아주 작다'는 의미를 가지고 있습니다.
작은 꽃들이 많이 모인 물을 아주 좋아하는 꽃이라는 뜻입니다.

Hawsun Beach 화순 금모래해변 - Jeju Island Korea
Hwasun is a much more quiet part of Jeju Island. There has been a lot of slow construction going on in Hwasun for the past two years. Hawsun is a beautiful part of Jeju Island and an area I love. It's nice to enjoy a beach to yourself instead of having a ton of tourists on the same beach. The hidden coves in Hwasun are a great place to relax and snorkel in. We didn't see too many fish that day, but as the weather warms up a lot more fish should appear in the area. If you're adventurous and like snorkeling, I would suggest checking this area out!

Gapado Barley Festival runs March 30 to May 12
Gapado is an island that is about a 20-minute ferry trip from Seogwipo(Moseulpo). In April, the entire island is filled with green waves of barley. The barley fields take up about 600,000㎡ of the island.

Jungmun Beach 중문 해변 - Jeju Island Korea
Jungmun beach is one of the most popular beaches on Jeju Island. It is known as the best beach to surf at on the island. Jungmun beach is great for everyone and is quite large compared to other beaches around Jeju island. I love this beach because it reminds me of beaches from my home town of San Diego California. If you love to swim, tan, surf, and stroll along a nice beach, come check out Jungmun beach! It's a must do if you're visiting Jeju Island!

MARADO JEJU ISLAND
Marado adalah bagian dari pulau, kabupaten administrasi Jeju island Seogwipo daejeongeup gapari di ujung selatan Republik Korea. Pulau ini terletak 11 km dari utara ke selatan dari bagian moseulpo. memiliki penduduk 139 orang pada akhir September 2104 dan untuk tahun 2017 sedikit berkurang menjadi sekitar 100 orang penduduknya. Di marado ini walaupun pulau kecil tapi setiap harinya banyak sekali pengunjung yg datang untuk menikmati pemandangan yang ada. Dipulau ini sangat terkenal dengan makanan seafood mie hitamnya(해물짜장면).
Berjalan mengelilingi sambil menikmati pemanadangan alam memakan waktu sejam.
Untuk pemberangkatan menggunakan kapal verry ada dua dermaga yaitu dari dermaga moseulpo dan dermaga songaksan. Untuk biaya tiket perorg 17rb won pp. Untuk jarak yg ditempu dr dermaga ke marado memakan waktu sekitar 35 menit.
Ps. Kalau datang berkunjung dipulau ini kudu bawa topi biar ngk kena panas wajah cantiknya.
