PORT BARTON Philippines Vlog #9
Untouched nature on Palawan Port Barton. We did an island tour to german island and paradise island. We saw green sea turtles and found nemo! :)
So yeah, definitely a big recommendation if you want to see unspoiled nature without much tourism you should go to Port Barton. The town itself is not very developed, you won't find a big hotel and sometimes you won't have power or a hot shower, but you can get a beautiful bungalow right on the beach for 15$! We stayed at the Deep Moon Resort and I can highly recommend it. Ausan Beach Front Cottages is also nice.
The van from Puerto Princesa takes 5 hours and the road is not very good but eventually you will make it there. If you are there you can do different island tours with a small boat. For 700php you will get a full day of exploring on a small boat for 8 people, snorkeling in untouched beautiful coral reef, diving is also very good there, and as you saw those little islands look like paradise from above.
I hope that this place is going to stay just like it is, because i thought the town El Nido was very dirty and badly developed, which kind of ruined the island tour and whole experience there, so keep Port Barton a secret.

I FOUND A HIDDEN PARADISE! [Port Barton, Philippines Vlog]
FREE Airbnb CREDIT:
I think I found a hidden paradise in the Philippines. Many islands are getting very busy and crowded with tourists, like Puerto Princesa, El Nido. Boracay etc.
But there are almost NO TOURISTS in beautiful Port Barton, and if you go to beaches like Coconut Beach or the islands in Port Barton Bay, you can have the beach ALL TO YOURSELF!
Here's my Philippines travel vlog from my 2 days exploring Port Barton, including a day island hopping to see Starfish Island, Maxima Island and German Island where you can see turtles and starfish!! The snorkelling was really amazing here. LOVE this country!
Philippines - Palawan - Glimpses around Port Barton

Take a look at the Pamuayan falls, Lowly Island Sand spit, come & snorkel with us on an island-hopping tour to Turtle Point, Inaladelan (German) Island and Twin Reefs. Check out the following 3 local resorts: Harmony Heaven Hostel, Evio Front Beach Cottages & Mermaid Paradise Resort located in Pamuayan, Port Barton.

In Episode 12 of Solo Backpacking the Philippines, I arrive in the little town of Port Barton on the East Coast of Palawan. I explored to White Beach and a waterfall by scooter on a day to myself. Also squeezed in some very relaxed yoga outside El Dorado Hostel and a lot of good food an chill time.

Iloilo to Port Barton travel guide, Philippines
Travelling cheap by boat and shuttle from Iloilo to Port Barton. By ship from Iloilo 30 hours docking in Cuyo and than to Puerto Princesa. To Puerto Princesa Bus Station with Trike and then shuttle to Port Barton. High recommanded adventure. A VLOG to get inspired, here in the beautiful Philippines.

A secluded tropical beach not already over-developed and populated is something of a dying breed.
Palawan is the third popular tourist destination in the Philippines, behind Boracay and Cebu. Most of this traffic flocks to the notorious El Nido district, however. The relatively unknown Port Barton is much more of a hidden gem.
--
It's an extra one-hour flight from Manila, before a three-hour van ride from Puerto Princessa airport. The last hour is sketchy unpaved dirt paths. Local electricity is also limited as the community shuts down at 12 every night.
--
Once arrived, it's a backpacker's dream- an untainted, naturally enclosed cove. Boat trips for island hopping and the underground river are less than 1500 Pesos for an entire day's expenses. Scuba, snorkel, kayaking and more, all very cheap.
--
The San Vicente International Airport is due for 2012 8 km from Port Barton. This will likely influx increased tourism, resort development and investors snatching up this island paradise.
Soon it will be every beach resort you've ever heard of.
