Alaska Winter Vacation VLOG (Byron Glacier, Snowmobiling, Alyeska, Talkeetna, Bodenburg Butte)
Our Alaska Winter Vacation VLOG (Byron Glacier, Snowmobiling, Talkeetna, Bodenburg Butte, Denali, Chugach Mountains). We did a lot on our Alaska Vacation and we visited Byron Glacier, Snowmobiling, Talkeetna, Bodenburg Butte, Denali, Chugach Mountains). We went through a snowstorm on our way to Byron Glacier, which the road to it was closed, but we parked and went back anyhow. It was super windy at Byron Glacier and a snowstorm. So we only got one mile back. Below is what we did!
Day 1:
- Flew Alaska Airlines into Anchorage, Alaska. Arrived in Wasilla at 3AM.
- Hiked the Bodenburg Butte Trail. Super icy, but worth it!
- Hit the Carr's grocery store for supplies for the week
Day 2:
- Went to Talkeetna and viewed Denali. Very cloudy though.
- Ate at Denali Brew Pub. Had Reindeer Meatloaf!
- Hiked the Palmer Hay Flats
Day 3: Drove to Byron Glacier, which the road was closed. But we parked and went back a mile anyhow. It was a snowstorm, very windy and snowy as you could see. Very bad audio due to the wind and weather conditions.
Day 4:
- Drove to Girdwood and snowmobiled through Glacier City Snowmobile Tours. Very much worth the money. We had signed up for a glacier tour, but it was cancelled due to weather. So we did the scenic tour and it was a blast, We had an awesome guide.
- Checked into Alyeska Resort
Day 5:
- Did a few hours of snowshoeing around Alyeska Resort
- Went to Seven Glacier Restaurant. Which was AMAZING!
Day 6:
- Flew out of Anchorage at 3PM, arrived back in Baltimore at 10AM next day.

radiation readings girdwood alaska 3.23-28.14 #10
Radiation monitoring of myself and what I come in contact with: air/ambient, ground, plants, food, shelter, vehicles, etc.
Looking for correlations between personal readings and contact materials to find cost effective solutions to remediate/mitigate internal radiation exposure.
Since the human body is an osmotic membrane what goes in should be able to be removed. I plan to prove radiation poisoning is not permanent with the correct protocol based on environmental factors. The movie Radio Bikini and video of the Belarus children after Chernobyl were huge influences to undertake this personal study. Due to the fact that Japan has not stopped the radiation leaks of which a portion of the materials will take more than 2.5 million years to degrade into their equally harmful daughter products and more than 230 nuclear facilities exist in the contiguous 48 United States, personal preservation is the only safeguard to an ongoing and impending human health disaster. 25 years after the Chernobyl incident, the area is still uninhabitable but the area has always been green with trees, plants and grasses flourishing. Fuk-us-hi-ma is showing the same results and scientists agree that the radiation from the failed reactors circles the globe approximately every 40 days.

An Italian tourist on a trip to Alaska with a group of friends was killed on Sunday when a chunk of ice fell off a glacier and struck him.Alexander Hellweger was among a group of eight tourists who took a helicopter ride to the head of Lake George Glacier on Sunday afternoon. After arriving at the scenic spot, seven of the group were getting ready to take a group photo. Hellweger was away from the group and was trying to make his way back when a piece of ice fell from the glacier and struck him.The rescue operation had to be halted because of approaching darkness and the potential for further ice falls. Rescuers recovered Hellweger’s body at around 2 p.m. the next day. The body was later flown to Girdwood Airport. Alaska authorities said the weather was unseasonably warm and sunny on Sunday.
