GYUMRI, ARMENIA -This morning started off early at the central train station, Yerevan Rail Station, en route to the second largest city in Armenia, Gyumri. Riding on a former Soviet Union train was an experience I’ll never forget. After three hours of slowly chugging our way through the Armenian highlands, I reached my destination. After walking around the city and taking in some of the beautiful architecture such as the Black Fortress, All Saviors Church and Vartanants Square, it was time to indulge in some vegan cuisine at one of the only vegan restaurants in Gyumri, Herbs & Honey.
If you enjoy beautiful scenery, architecture and love to indulge in traditional Armenian cuisine, I highly recommend you to visit the country of Armenia on your next adventure. Remember to add Gyumri to your itinerary. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this beautiful country.

The owner is the last in the field of horse-drawn carriage rides in Gyumri and possibly also throughout Armenia. If you are in Gyumri and have time, you should definitely take a carriage ride. The journey always begins and ends opposite the Town Hall and leads along Gayi Street, Abovyan Street, Vahan Cheraz Street and Shahumyan Street. This carriage is a historic Victoria horse-drawn carriage dating back to 1869. Presumably, this coach is not so old, but you can ask the owner for sure.Leather roof or soft top, which is drawn by 2 horses and has 2 axles. Balade romantique en calèche dans le centre-ville de Gyumri en Arménie avec une vieille calèche historique. Le propriétaire est le dernier dans le domaine des promenades en calèche à Gyumri et peut-être aussi dans toute l'Arménie. Si vous êtes à Gyumri et que vous avez le temps, vous devez absolument faire une balade en calèche. Le voyage commence toujours et se termine en face de la mairie et mène le long de la rue Gayi, de la rue Abovyan, de la rue Vahan Cheraz et de la rue Shahumyan. Armenia: Still No Answers In High-Profile Gyumri Massacre
This is an exclusive interview by Hromadske, recorded recently, half a year after the massacre.
On January 11th, 2015, seven members of the Avetisyan family were murdered in the city of Gyumri, Armenia. Among those killed were two children, one two years old and a 6-month old stabbed with a knife.
Six months have already passed, but nothing has been done, said Rita Petrosyan, sister to one of the deceased.
Valery Permyakov, a soldier at the Russian military base in Gyumri, is the chief suspect - as his fingerprints were found on the knife. This sparked a major outcry and mass protests around the country.
Petrosyan thinks that this is much too big of a job for one man: Permyakov is in the garrison. We cannot find out anything. I can’t believe…our lawyers suppose that he just didn’t realize his actions. I can’t believe it. There were seven people. One 19-year old guy couldn’t do all that.
Since the tragedy the Armenian government has taken over the case but little progress has been made public, especially to the families who want to see justice for their loved ones.
If he was doing all that, if he shot, if he killed - then punish him, said Petrosyan.

טיסה ישירה ליראוון )Yerevan )בירת ארמניה מתא. עם ההגעה העברה למלון ללינה. לינה
ביראוון.
יום 2 :גרני, גרארד, ירוואן
בבוקר ניסע לביקור בגרני )Garni ,(במקדש הפגאני מהתקופה ההלניסטית, המוקדש לאל השמש
ומתוארך למאה ה-1 לסהנ. נראה גם את שרידי המבצר ואת בית המרחץ הרומי. נרד ברגל אל קניון
גרני ונראה מקרוב תצורות נפלאות של משושים מבזלת. נמשיך לביקור במנזר גרארד,
(Geghard (שבו מנזר מערות מרשים ויפה. בערב ארוחת ערב במסעדה עם מוסיקה. לינה בירוואן.
יום 3 :חור ויראפ, נורואנק, ג'רמוק
ביום זה נצא לחלקה הדרומי של ארמניה. ניסע דרומה לאזור Dzor Vayots בעמק האררט. בדרך
נבקר בחור ויראּפ (Virap Khor ,)המנזר שנבנה במקום שבו נכלא גריגור הקדוש המאיר מייסד
ומפיץ הנצרות בארמניה. כאן הוא נזרק לבור עמוק עם נחשים ארסיים ושהה בו 13 שנים. נצפה
לעבר הר אררט המתנשא מעבר לגבול עם תורכיה השכנה. נבקר במנזר נורוואנק (Noravank(
שניצב בין מצוקים מרשימים. נכיר את הארכיטקטורה הארמנית המיוחדת ונפגוש את החצ'קרים:
צלבים מגולפים באבן האופייניים לארמניה. לקראת ערב נגיע למלון בעיירה גוריס (Goris.(
יום 4 :קרהונג' טאטב
היום נבקר באזור סיסיאן (Sisian (היפהפה מקומם של הרים גבוהים בדרום ארמניה. ניסע אל
קרהונג', )Karahunj (אתר מסתורי, מעגל אבנים, מצפה כוכבים פרהיסטורי, מעין סטונ ֵהג ארמני,
כמו גם ממצאים פרהיסטוריים נוספים ובהם דולמנים ומנהירים. ניסע דרומה לטאטב )Tatev (מנזר
עתיק השוכן במקום מרהיב עין מעל לקניון עמוק ובו פעלה בימי הביניים אוניברסיטה מיוחדת
ונכתבו יצירות ספרותיות חשובות שהושפעו ממסורות מזרחיות ומערביות גם יחד. נגיע אל המנזר
ברכבל שאורכו כמעט שישה )!( קמ. )אם יפעל(. נשלב מסלולי הליכה בהתאם לזמן. לקראת ערב
נשוב ללינה בגוריס.

יום 5 :ירגיס, מעבר סלים, אגם סוואן, דיליג'אן
בבוקר נצא מגוריס וניסע לכיוון אגם סוואן )Sevan ,(בדרך נעצור לביקור בכפר ירגיס (Yeregis ,(
שלידו נתגלה בית קברות יהודי עתיק מן המאה ה-14 .נבקר בבית הקברות ובסביבת הכפר ונמשיך
לכיוון חאן השיירות (Caravansary Selim ,(אשר נשתמר היטב. נמשיך אל אגם סוואן )Sevan .)
אגם זה שהוא האגם הגדול היחיד בארמניה, נמצא בגובה 900,1 מטר מעל פני הים ומוקף בשפע
של אתרי עתיקות. בצדו הצפון מערבי של האגם על חצי האי נמצא מנזר סוואנוואנק
(Sevanavank ,(ובו אוסף מרשים של צלבים חצובים באבן. נמשיך דרך אזור ההרים המיוערים של
דיליג'אן (Dilijan (ללינה.
יום 6 :הררסטין, ספיטק, גיומרי, יראוון
בבוקר נצא אל אזור ההרים המיוערים של דיליג'אן, )Dilijan .(נטייל ברגל אל מנזר הררטיסין,
)Haghartisin (אחד היפים בארמניה, השוכן ביער, בין הרים. נעבור בספיטק )Spitak )עיירה
שנחרבה ברעידת אדמה קשה ב - 1988 ונבנתה מאז מחדש וניסע דרך אזור הכפרים היזידים
הפזורים באזור. נבקר באחד הכפרים ונעמוד על אופייה של הקהילה הייחודית. נמשיך לגיומרי
)Gyumri )עיר שגם היא נפגעה קשה באותה רעידת אדמה ומנסה להשתקם מאז. בשעות הערב
נגיע חזרה ליראוון ללינה.
יום 7 :ירוואן
יום מלא ביראוון בירת ארמניה. נבקר במסגד הכחול ובכיכר
הרפובליקה, באתר הזיכרון לרצח העם הארמני, במוזיאון
ההיסטוריה ובפסל אמא ארמניה הצופה על העיר. בערב נצא
למסעדה לחגוג את סיום הטיול. לינה ביראוון.
יום 8 :איצמירדז'ין, טיסה לתל אביב
עם בוקר נצא לאיצמידז'ין )Echmiadzin )מרכזה העולמי
של הכנסייה הארמנית. נחזור ליראוון ובהתאם לשעת

Հայաստանի կանանց առաջնության 8-րդ տուրի կենտրոնական հանդիպման բոլոր վտանգավոր պահերը մեկ տեսանյութում։ Խաղադաշտում ծավալվեց իրապես լարված և անզիջում պայքար, որը օրվա տոնի հետ բնավ ներդաշնակ չէր։ Երևանցիները աչքի ընկան կոշտ հյուրընկալությամբ, սակայն ինչ կարող էին նրանք անել, եթե ամենապատասխանատու պահերին խաղը հանդարտեցնողը լռում էր։ Չնայած այս ամենին ստացվեց գեղեցիկ խաղ։Գյումրիի թիմի աղջիկները ցուցաբերեցին մեծ նվիրվածություն և խաղացին գրեթե անթերի ֆուտբոլ, միայն թէ անհրաժեշտ պահերին չկարողացան ցուցաբերել սառնասրտություն և օգտագործել ԻՐԵՆՑ ԿՈՂՄԻՑ ՍՏԵՂԾՎԱԾ գոլային պահերը։ Կարելի է փաստել կրկին անգամ, որ ոչ սպորտային բախտն էր մեր կողմը, ոչ էլ սպորտային կյաժը։ կամ գյումրիեցիների լեզվով ասած - միջներից կյաժը մենք էինք․․․
