Negril, Jamaica ???????? Snorkeling Calico Jack’s Pirate Island & Half Moon Beach in 4K
Boat ride to Calico Jack’s Pirate Island and back to Half Moon Beach with snorkeling. Most of the coral was dead in this area and the water was a little murky. Half Moon Beach is a beautiful area right outside Negril away from the crowds on a private beach. Entry fee to Half Moon Beach was $5 per person and boat ride to Calico Jack’s was an additional $5 per person. Shot with a GoPro Hero7 Black. - March 2019

Half Moon Beach: Blues in Jamaica 2016 from Toronto to Negril.
'Blues in Jamaica 2016' is an annual blues & reggae music trip organized by our fearless leader Dawn Fairbanks. She brings 5 or 6 top notch musicians from Toronto and surrounding area and approximately 60 vacationers down to the 7 mile long beach of Negril, Jamaica for 1 week at an all expense paid resort.
'Blues in Jamaica' was created to join together Canadian Blues professionals and local Negril Reggae artists in the warmth of the Jamaican sun and the inviting settings of resorts and clubs, both beachfront and cliffside. 2016 was the 5th year we brought this together...and our most successful yet!
Combining popular beach nightclubs including the Seastar Inn, Bourbon Beach & Roots Bamboo with the rustic setting of the Samsara and the beachfront Legends Resort, we jammed, sang, danced and entertained ourselves into the hearts of the locals and the souls of our guests from Canada.
The musicians involved in this trip were Canadian legend and lead singer of the Downchild Blues Band Chuck Jackson, Cheryl Lescom, Jerome Godboo, Tyler Yarema, Brant Parker, Terry Gillespie, Owen Brown, Steve Grisbrook and Chuckee Zehr.
2017...we are coming back, bigger, stronger and MUCH more music! Roots, Reggae & Blues.

Half Moon Resort, Jamaica
Golf and travel writer Ted McIntyre paid a visit to the five-star Half Moon Resort in Rose Hall, Jamaica, just outside Montego Bay, in late September. Apart from a couple hours of late-afternoon rain a few times, the weather was great, and the value was exceptional at this beautiful, 400-acre property.
