Exploring Hawkes Bay, New Zealand - Arataki Honey, Clifton & More - North Island Roadtrip Vlog Day 9
Day 9 of our 42-day trip around the North Island of New Zealand was a work and exploration day in Napier, Hawkes Bay. We started the day with some work and then headed out for the afternoon. First stop, lunch at The Black Shed.
From there we left Napier and headed to Havelock North to check out Arataki Honey before making our way down to Clifton. As the sun was going down, we came back to Napier and got dinner at Indigo Indian Restaurant again and had our minds blown with more amazing Indian cuisine. Finally, we enjoyed the night lights around Napier, including the beautifully lit Tom Parker Fountain.
We stayed at the Nautilus Hotel for the duration of our time in Napier. The Nautilus is an absolutely beautiful hotel, I can't recommend it enough. Enjoy!

To enter the Maori village should follow their consciousness. Formal ritual is over, I met a young man eager to Maori carving. He told the pulsating sounds that play when beoleojyeo this urgent call people to gather. The town has a place where you can buy the crafts he made it maryeondwae. It seems that Maori and give special meaning to all of this stuff to make them. MYGF_DIARY | Yes! We Moved to Hasting, Hawke's Bay (New Zealand) | video + blog | 011
YES! we moved to Hasting, Hawke's Bay.
from the beginning, we stay in Auckland for 2 weeks, then moved to Te Puke for another 2 weeks. due to we arrived te puke too early, the kiwi season not started yet. so we decided to moved to Hawke's Bay to find apple jobs.
Till we reached hakwe's bay, we had walked in nearly all the apple packhouse we could find. while waiting for the answer from the packhouse, we had been to some place near haske's bay like waimarama beach, ocean beach, shine falls, maraetotara falls and the best real fruit ice cream in hasting - The Strawberry Patch
the falls water is crystal clear and is freaking cold, my leg was freezing and numb while walking in the water.
if you like hot sun, you should go to waimarama beach or ocean beach, the sun is damn hot and there is no shade around the place, if you scare of sun, you might consider to bring a tent. for those who love surfing, this is the place you MUST go.
lastly, we had moved to a cottage which owned by a local kiwi, and the cottage have 2 single rooms and 2 double rooms, we are the only asian, and all are from chile.
they have a very big garden and heaps of animal. they like gardening and they ducks, cats, chickens, and pigeons.
!!! Tips on how to find a jobs in New Zealand !!!
-lets say you want to find some packhouse job
- simply go to google.com or google maps and type in packhouse in hawke's bay
- you will be surprise that there are lots of packhouse and even some you couldn't find in forum or group.
- remember to like, subscribe and share with your friend if you like this tips
that's it for today, more video and blog coming soon !!
