Я вновь гуляю по Хэйхэ. Это истинный пример северного Китая. Мои частые путешествия в Китай начались именно с этого города, ведь он, грубо говоря, находится в часе езды от моего дома в России. Некоторым он не нравится с первого раза, но потом захочется ездить сюда снова и снова. Так и манит эта неизведанная культура.

I walk around Heihe city again. It's a great example of nothern chinese city. My often trips to China started from exactly this city. It takes only 1 hour to get here from my house in Russia.
Some people don't like it from the first time being here, but than everybody want to come back here again and again. So alluring this uncharted culture.

China's north-eastern port city of Heihe has been hit by some of the worst floods in thirty years.
The Daheihe island bordering Russia was partially submerged as waters continued to rise following days of heavy rain.
The downpour has forced the Heilongjang river over its banks, covering farm lands, inundating homes and forcing immigration offices to close.
Border officials are trying to work around the rising water levels.
We adjusted our work schedules. With additional police backup, we have people on duty around the clock to get an update of the latest water levels, explained Heihe border checkpoint official, Yu Changguang.
Across the border in Russia, Neighbouring town Blagoveshchensk is also suffering.
The Emergencies Minister declared the floods a 'federal emergency' as around 2,000 people were forced the flee after weeks of torrential rains in the Amur region.

Rime island: Magnificent rime scenery along river in northeastern China
The video shows beautiful rime scenery along the Kuerbin River in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province in December. Warm water from a hydropower station flows into the river's upper reaches. The rime scenery results from an interaction between the cold air and warm vapor out of the river.

The situation of the border trade has improved gradually, however, the policy on the Blagoveshchensk side changes often. The taxes in Russia are not stable, sometime they are up and sometime down, depending on the negotiations of the two sides.

STORYLINE
Russian President Vladimir Putin heads to China this weekend, visiting the country's new leaders in an effort to cement good relations between the nations.
More than a year after Putin threw his backing behind the U.S.-led anti-terror campaign, and stepped up cooperation with the West, the visit will also serve as a reminder that the Kremlin is simultaneously pursuing close relations with China.
One of the topics high on the agenda will be economic and trade relations between the countries, which share a 4,240-kilometer (2,630-mile) border.
One example of the growing trade relations can be found in the Chinese border city of Heihe and its Russian counterpart - Blagoveshchensk - just across the river.
In the 1990s the Heihe government began to develop an island in the river between the two nations as an international trading center, where Russians and Chinese could deal in the same market.
Every morning, hundreds of Russians from Blagoveshchensk ferry cross to the island to buy clothes, shoes and other products from the Heihe wholesalers.
Although many Russians are impressed by the improving quality of Chinese goods the trade between the two sides has also generated some friction.
Russians are not allowed to trade in China whilst Chinese businesses continue to flourish within the Russian border.
Many of the hundreds of Russians who cross the border into China are hired to purchase goods in China and carry them back across the river, conveniently evading tax levies.
But Russia hasn't lost sight of the benefits that come from a wider cooperation with China.
China has been the top customer for Russia's struggling defence industry since the collapse of the Soviet Union, purchasing billions of dollars worth of jets, missiles, destroyers and submarines, although no military cooperation deals are expected to be signed during Putin's visit.

Jixi, located in the southeastern part of Heilongjiang Province, with an area of 22,500 square kilometers and a population of 1,840,000. It covers 641-kilometer-long Sino-Russian border line and has one first-class land port between two countries. It is also a comprehensive industrial city with a 100-year history of coal mining and a city of graphite industry in China.
Jixi is a different “natural river”. There is the largest fresh water lake, Lake Xingkai, with a total area of 4,380 square kilometers, and the most perfect, complex, and well-preserved Treasure Island (Zhenbao Island). Jixi is a different “cultural river”. It is the birthplace of ancestors of Manchu, the end of World War II, the place where the Republic of the Great Northern Wilderness air force grow, the birthplace of the wilderness spirit, the birthplace of the spirit of Treasure Island, and the place where gathers the history of coal mining for a hundred years.

Live: The ninth Sino-Russia Culture Fair第九届中俄文化大集在黑河举行
The ninth Sino-Russia Culture Fair is being held in the northeastern Chinese city of Heihe, just a few kilometers away from Russia’s Amur Oblast. In addition to Chinese cultural relics, Russian oil paintings, arts, and special local products such as Russian dolls are now on display in the city's museum. CGTN is visiting the museum with guests from both Heihe and Russia and taking a look at the natural beauty and cultural history from both sides of the border.
Russia: Frozen Amur River hosts China-Russia ice hockey match
Two Russian and Chinese amateur ice hockey teams held a friendly match on the frozen Amur River, right on the border between the two countries, in the Amur Region on Saturday.
Amur Region Governor Alexander Kozlov was one of the Russian team's players, and afterwards said that the idea to hold the game on the river was initiated during a meeting with the governor and his Chinese counterpart from Heilongjiang Province across the river in spring 2016. It seemed impossible then, but today we see that it is possible, we are here and we are playing, Kozlov said.

Rime, northerners called it “shu gua”, means icicles on the tree. As clean as ice and as pure as jade, it is an exquisite masterpiece of nature and like a sparkling crystal forest, often regarded as a symbol of beauty and holiness. Because of high altitude and cold weather, rime is not rare in Heilongjiang Province, and it is everywhere from Greater Khingan Range in the north to Harbin City in the south. There are several famous ones such as Kurbin rime, Nanwenghe rime, Lotus Lake rime, and Jingpo Lake rime. Kurbin rime, located at the border of Heihe City and Yichun City, is one of the wonderful views in the Lesser Khingan Range which has a four-month viewing period. Also, Kurbin rime is known as “hanjiangxueliu”, means the snowy willow beside the cold river. When winter comes and flowers fall, Kurbin reservoir discharges tail water after generating electricity and helps form the beautiful view of rime.

Northeast China's Liaodong Bay enters sea ice stage
Northeast China's Liaodong Bay has entered the sea ice stage due to continuously dropping temperatures in the northern Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea area. The water temperature dropped to 2 degrees Celsius within just 24 hours on Monday. The area of sea ice has expanded to 1,316 square kilometers.

Spectacular solar halo appears in NE China
A magnificent solar halo was spotted on Saturday over Muling city, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province. A ring of colorful light encircled the sun, caused by both refraction and reflection from ice crystals that spread in cirrus clouds drifting 6,000 meters or more high. Solar halos are relatively rare, and Muling’s last such occurrence took place in 2003.
