My recent curie aboard Princess Cruises' Regal Princess ship, with a stop in the island of Grand Cayman. The day started by tendering ashore, and the shore excursion included a visit to Hell, Turtle Farm, and Stingray City!

Hell is an actual small town located in Grand Cayman with unique black rock formations. There is a small post office that you can send a postcard with postmark of Hell. In the second part of video, our driver explained one version of how Hell got its name.

Hell Cayman Island

Hell is a group of short, black, limestoneformations located in Grand Cayman,Cayman Islands. Located in West Bay, it is roughly the size of half a soccer field. Hell was created by salt and lime deposits over 24 million years, and the legend of its name's origin is controversial. Some say locals believed the place was similar to Hell's landscape. Others assert that a British general hunting in the area exclaimed Oh hell, when he missed a shot near the area.

Hell in Grand Cayman Island
It looks like hell (the natives say), and the Hell Post Office is there for the travelers to sent a postcard From Hell. There is even a postman dressed in red and has horns, and tells you; Have a Hell of a Day, when you pay for your postcard. It is on your way to the Turtle Farm. It has been under the ocean once, but now the limestone rock formations look like what the islanders imagine hell would look like with burned rock. Good for travelers and tourists to see and chose tours in Grand Cayman offered from Carnival and other cruises.

This is Hell... Hell in Grand Cayman. It is hard to see much of this area so I thought it would be best to capture 4K drone footage from above.
This area is one of the few places you can fly your drone in Grand Cayman since the airport is located close to most of the attractions.
