Our best day in Scotland - Feeding Red Deer & Loch Tay Cruise | Highland Safaris [Ad]
One of our favourite days in Scotland! Today we're at Highland Safaris Aberfeldy to feed red deer and cruise on Loch Tay. Then we see some Highland Cows, how Scottish can we...⬇ More Below ✈
While this is sadly one of our last days in Scotland and Perthshire as a whole, it's definitely one of the most random and fun days we've had! Highland Safaris in Aberfeldy is showing us an incredible time in this vlog, we hope you love it as much as we did/do. Feeding red deer, boat cruise on Loch Tay, meeting some horses and highland cows all in one video! Is it THE best day? OK that's hard to pick in such an epic country but it sure was a stand out.
We start off with a boat cruise on Loch Tay with Loch Tay Safaris. Loch Tay is really a uniquely shaped loch and has the deepest spot in Perthshire right next to the tallest mountain - very cool to see.
Off to the main Highland Safaris Aberfeldy centre and we're feeding red deer! Seeing the red deer so close and learning more about them was absolutely incredible. Highland Safaris has all sorts of other activities on site we wish we could have checked out, worth a look for sure.
Thinking the day was over at this point, but we checked into the Old Manse of Blair and were offered the chance to go up the road and see some highland cows - you'd have to be crazy to say no to that. Highland cows are the best, as Stace mentions, they look so emo with their fringes ????

Chocolate & Scottish Whisky Together?? | Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery Tour | Perth, Scotland [Ad]
Scottish whisky is world renowned but with chocolate? Today we head to Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery for a tour to see why Scotland is known for it's whisky and pair with chocolate! ⬇ More Below ⬇
Welcome back to Scotland! Today we wanted to learn more about why Scottish whisky is so well known, so we head to Dewars Aberfeldy for a distillery tour and tasting with chocolate pairings and what a day!
Whisky from Scotland is world renowned and we can understand why now. The distillery tour was eye opening to see how meticulous the process is and the love that goes into every bottle. We're honestly not big spirit drinkers but Dewars definitely positioned their distillery tour and whisky tasting to us in a way that was much more approachable - with chocolate! It's crazy how much the chocolate changes the profile of the whisky and now we're both a lot more open to whisky.
Having all the notes listed in front of us helped with the tasting as well, to an untrained drinker (us both haha) we really feel like our eyes are open to whisky now and will be looking for the Scottish magic around the world.

Small town Scottish Charm to the Height of the Highlands
Drive beyond the hustle bustle of the Scottish cities and you’ll discover the small town charm of of Aberfeldy, where we meet some of the locals, starting off with a big one, Alan Cumming’s mum, Mary. We spend time with the villagers who run the local movie theater, a project near and dear to Alan’s heart. We head to Haggart’s, home of Scottish Tweed. And finally, we move to the DeliLight market to shop for a very special lunch up in the highlands. After a thrilling ride through the mountains with some help from Highland Safaris, we prepare a Scottish broth with Michelin commended chef, Tom Lewis, in the inspired scenery fit for a king.

This is what I do with a weekend off...
So a few people from CCE decided to have a weekend away at Boreland, Loch Tay. There was magic, slo-mos and obviously timelapses.

Scottish Adventure Begins ???? Loch Leven Castle | Perth and Kinross, Scotland [Ad]
Another Scottish road trip starts! We're in Perth and Kinross exploring Loch Leven Castle, chatting Mary Queen of Scots and eating at Loch Leven Larder. Scotland continues to... ⬇ More Below ⬇
Welcome back to Scotland — Perth and Kinross are home for the next few travel days and vlogs to come! Our first day exploring is the epic Loch Leven, taking the ferry aka wee boat over to the Loch Leven Castle. Scottish yarns really are the best and Loch Leven has plenty to share, mostly related to Mary Queen of Scots.
Loch Leven was home to Mary Queen of Scots on a few occasions, but also where she was imprisoned and famously escaped from in a brilliant way. It's simple for us to jump on the wee ferry boat over to Loch Leven Castle but in her day things were obviously a lot trickier!
Loch Leven Larder was our lunch spot, an enormous dome sitting right on the loch!
???? Our accom at the start was The Townhouse, you can see the reviews and pricing here: or check out their site here:

Scotland Is Delicious! Our last Scottish adventures | Perthshire [ad]
For our last day in Scotland we want to eat as much Scottish and local food as possible! Drummond Castle Gardens is also on...⬇ More Below ⬇
Sadly it's our last day in Scotland and our last from this little road trip series through this awesome country. To go out with a bang we wanted to eat as much Scottish food as possible and visit the Drummond Castle Gardens along the way.
The food of Scotland isn't just fish and chips and local eats, there's also a thriving restaurant scene and we got the chance to try some top quality food prepared right in front of us by an incredible chef at The Old Manse of Blair.
Of course theres fish and chips on the agenda along with and Irn Bru and a collection of other local favourites and Scottish treats.
We also stopped off to check out Drummond Castle and the Drummond Gardens - the stuff out of fairytales for sure! If you're ever in the area you should totally check out the Drummond Gardens regardless of if you're a 'garden lover' or not - they're seriously impressive!
???? Our accom was The Old Manse of Blair, you can see the reviews and pricing here: or check out their site here: Best to contact them to ask about A Chefs Table, it's worth it!
