Hikarigaoka Park, Tokyo Japan - Autumn, Nov 13, 2017
Known as Hikarigaoka Kōen in Japan, it is the largest park in Nerima, Tokyo. It is one of the best parks for Cherry blossom viewing during spring, which usually starts at the last week of March.

Oh no, that was only an allegory, you can put the water bucket down. (I am so funny)
This first part of my Digital Tokyo Adventures features Hikarigaoka and intro bit of Shinbashi including the Hobbit display. I'm such a nerd, I was dying and the thing wasn't even open yet! Afterwards came the Gandalf and Golum statues and of course the one ring.
I did not find the Digimon Hikarigaoka station map sign, this is why you should do research. ;...; or ask someone! Well, maybe next time...
Talking of next, I don't know when I'll do the second part, editing is such a pain!

Saturday at the Park - Grant Heights/Hikarigaoka (HD)
A birdseye view of Hikarigaoka with Grant Heights Dependent Housing Area landmarks noted. Also shows proximity to former Camp Drake (Camp Asaka) and Momote Village. Created with Google Earth Studio.
Located in northwest Tokyo, Grant Heights opened in 1947 two years after the end of World War II. Built atop a former Japanese kamikaze air base, Narimasu Army Airfield, it served as a housing annex for nearly three decades under both U.S. Army and Air Force commands. It occupied 413 acres and 823 housing quarters. Grant Heights closed in 1973 as the Vietnam War wound down and reverted to the Japanese. It was redeveloped as a master-planned community Hikarigaoka and municipal park, Hikarigaoka-koen.
