Trekking in Wild Marijuana Fields (NEPAL HIMALAYAS)
#nepal The trekking begins in Syapru Besi, Nepal. This is the starting point of the Langtang Valley trek. We are hiking through steep jungle covered valleys with fields of wild marijuana, crossing multiple suspension bridges, eventually reaching the village called Llama hotel.

Nepal - Himalaya - Kathmandu
See the best accommodations Nepal, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked sovereign state located in South Asia. It is located in the Himalayas and bordered to the north by the People's Republic of China, and to the south, east, and west by the Republic of India. With an area of 147,181 square kilometres (56,827 sq mi) and a population of approximately 30 million, Nepal is the world's 93rd largest country by land mass and the 41st most populous country. Kathmandu is the nation's capital and the country's largest metropolis.
Nepal has a rich geography. The mountainous north has eight of the world's ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest, called Sagarmatha in Nepali. It contains more than 240 peaks over 20,000 ft (6,096 m) above sea level. The fertile and humid south is heavily urbanized.
By some measures, Hinduism is practised by a larger majority of people in Nepal than in any other nation. Buddhism, though a minority faith in the country, is linked historically with Nepal. Many Nepali do not distinguish between Hinduism and Buddhism and follow both religious traditions. There are 3 different buddhist traditions: Himalayan Buddhism, Buddhism of Kathmandu Valley (mostly Mahayana and Vajrayana), and also the Theravada Buddhism.
A monarchy throughout most of its history, Nepal was ruled by the Shah dynasty of kings from 1768, when Prithvi Narayan Shah unified its many small kingdoms. However, a decade-long Civil War by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and several weeks of mass protests by all major political parties led to the 12 point agreement of November 22, 2005. The ensuing elections for the constituent assembly on May 28, 2008 overwhelmingly favored the abdication of the Nepali monarch Gyanendra Shah and the establishment of a federal multiparty representative democratic republic. The first President of Nepal, Ram Baran Yadav, was sworn in on July 23, 2008. ( source Wikipedia )

athmandu has often been by some as a flawless jewel in a unique setting. No other place in the world has the concentration of culture, art and tradition that exists in the Kathmandu valley (1300m.). Kathmandu is the crossroads for the many ethnic groups of Nepal and for visitors from all over the world every year. Nestled in the central hills of Nepal, Kathmandu is at once medieval and modern. The Kathmandu valley sprawls at the junction of two sacred rivers, Bagmati and Bishnumati. Just cross the Bagmati River to the south is Patan, on ancient city of temples, while Bhadgoon with its thousands of homes and temples shrines lies six miles to the east. More then two hundred years ago these three cities housed the Royal places of three different kingdoms that divided the valley palaces surviving today.

'' Fill your life with Adventures , not things ,have stories to tell not stuff to show ''.
Welcome to Nepal! Nepal is a beautiful landlocked country. Though it is small, the country has variations in landscapes from high, rocky Himalayan terrain, to green lustrous hills and flat, fertile Terai plains. The rich culture, scenic beauty, and heartwarming hospitality make Nepal a must-visit country. There are many ways one can opt to explore Nepal. However, to explore the Himalayan region, the best option is trekking. The Himalayan country of Nepal lies in Southern Asia. To the north is the autonomous region of Tibet, in the People’s Republic of China, and to the south is India. Roughly the shape of a rectangle, Nepal has a length of 885 km and a width ranging from 145 km to 241 km. Nepal also contains the largest mountain range on earth, the Himalayan Mountains. This creates an elevation profile that is one of the most extreme in the world. It ranges from a mere 70 meters above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest at 8,848 meters. Because of this huge disparity in elevation all within a distance of 150 km, Nepal contains enormous climatic variations from sub-tropical to alpine. It is popularly known in the world for its incredible diversity of ecosystems. The high peaks of the Himalayas in the north quickly drops down to thick tropical jungles teeming with wildlife in the south on the way to the Ganges floodplain. Between the two extremes are glittering glaciers, thundering rivers, forested hills and terraced slopes. Besides an incredibly rich and diverse ecology, Nepal also has amazing cultural traditions. You can wonder at the exquisite craftsmanship and artistic ingenuity of the people then and now as you view the temples and historical palaces full of architectural value. Part of the religious and cultural fabric of Nepal is their numerous national and religious festivals. These festivals and ceremonies have been celebrated since time and can be seen at all times of the year. Nepal is also famously known for the warm hospitality given to every guest. For all who come to this mysterious realm awaiting you is an atmosphere of welcome and warmth. Nepal is a breathtaking and enchanting land of myths and legends to come, see, and experience.

The second part will show the nature, track and accommodation on the track.
About the permits: In 2018 you need a entry permit for $33 and a TIMS card for $20. The official use for TIMS is your safety. They say its needed in case of natural desasters to organise rescue and search.

Trek in Ruby Valley : Kathmandu - Nuwakot - Rasuwa - Dhading
Finally I managed to complete the video. Yayyyyy!
I along with my colleagues from Raleigh International Nepal went for a Trek Recce. We started from Kathmandu and travelled to Pansang (Dhading district) via Nuwakot and Rasuwa on our off road Toyota car. We stayed for a night in Gatlang, Rasuwa district and drove up to Pansang via Somtang. We started walking from Pansang and reached Dundure, Dhading after the 4 days of walk. We spent each night in Tipling, Chalis Gaun, Borang and Dundure. This trek route is also called as the Ruby valley trek route.
The highest point we reached during out trek was at Pangsang at 3850 meters.

Hiking In Nepal: Mohare Danda Trek In The Annapurna Himalayan Range
Have you ever gone hiking in Nepal?
Trekking in Nepal is an epic bucket list adventure. Recently, I got to do the Mohare Danda Trek in the Annapurna Himalayan Range.
This 5-day trek is is a stunning alternative to the more popular Poon Hill Trek. Honestly, I didn't see a single other hiker outside of my own trekking group.
I saw animals, high peaks -- like Fishtail Mountain, Annapurna Massif and Annapurna 2 -- and got to stay in local teahouses and homestays in remote places rarely accessed my tourists.
How cool is that?
*A big thanks to the Nepal Tourism Board and the Pacific Asia Travel Association for sponsoring my trip!
The drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu is long and bumpy but as city transforms into countryside I'm reminded of the journey ahead. Pokhara is a hippy city with conscious cafes, crystal shops and active adventures around Phewa lake, building my excitement for the Mohare Danda Trek ahead.
The trek, an off the beaten path five day hike through the Annapurna Himalayas begins three hours away in Jaleshwar.
Day one is three hours straight up hill to our teahouse accommodation in Bhaskar though the beautiful mountain views keep me going.
Day two is even harder with seven hours uphill but that's the price you pay to play in the clouds. With every set of stairs comes another view and we meet four-legged friends and locals along the way. We go up and down past giant boulders and through villages stopping for lunch with a view and a fun game of Carrom board before continuing on to Nangi village for the night. Views of Nepal's high peaks including Annapurna too enhance the stay.
Day three is another seven hours uphill. We enter Alpine forests with a new pup companion named Seto and head farther up into the clouds toward our goal destination Mohare Danda. The views along the way are some of my favorite of the whole trek. It's so stunning the rain doesn't even bother me and at three p.m we arrived at 3300 meters with high peak views, worth it.
On day four we begin descending towards Tikot village. While I love the trail animals there is a unwanted guest, leeches prevalent during monsoon season. We quickly scramble over rocks and through mud to avoid them though the mountains distract me. Along the way our porters find the rare Gasagomba, a caterpillar fungus that's also an aphrodisiac. Down and down we go past buffalo and streams and into fairy-tale woodland spilling out into wide open spaces until we reach Tikot. Momos and Chomain provide necessary fuel for exploring this adorable high altitude village.
As if the trek never happened we're on our final steep day five descent. I forget the physical pain of the trek focusing on gratitude, grateful to have gotten to hike through Nepal's Annapurna Himalayas. I cross the final bridge and wave the mountains goodbye. Alright, super sweaty just finished the Mohare Danda Trek in Nepal. Five days, over 22 hours of hiking and over 3300 meters in altitude.
A lot of fun but really hard.

Kathmandu Valley ???????? Nepal - Travel & Discover
The cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley is illustrated by seven groups of monuments and buildings which display the full range of historic and artistic achievements for which the Kathmandu Valley is world famous. The seven include the Durbar Squares of Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu), Patan and Bhaktapur, the Buddhist stupas of Swayambhu and Bauddhanath and the Hindu temples of Pashupati and Changu Narayan.

Golden Kingdom In The Himalayas (Nepal) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Documentary about the Golden Kingdom in the Himalayas in Nepal.
Surrounded by the highest mountains in the world is the fascinating world of Nepal, the Golden Kingdom of the Himalayas. Compared to the hubbub of the Nepal capital of Kathmandu, the lakes of the Pokhara Valley located two hundred kilometres to the west are tranquil and relaxing. The freshwater lakes, the Pokhari, also gave the region its name. The vast forest areas of Chitwan in the south of the country on the border with India provide a surprisingly diverse variety of flora and fauna and make its nickname of, The Heart of the Jungle, appropriate. Modern life is far more obvious in Kathmandu Valley than in the south of the country. But the region’s rich historical heritage with its magnificent temples and palatial buildings is still a magnificent sight. The valley is like a huge treasure trove and it is where the cultural development of Nepal first began. Despite its slow development this land has preserved much of its fascinating mediaeval atmosphere. Lalitpur was once known as a centre of Buddhism with more than a hundred and fifty monasteries including the most famous main monastery, the so-called Golden Temple, the Kwa Bahal. With a population of around seventy-five thousand, Bhaktapur, once an independent royal city, is the third largest city in Kathmandu. Apart from the Swayambhunath Stupa, Bodhnath, otherwise known as, Tiny Tibet, is the most important Buddhist sanctuary and also the largest sacred building of its kind in Kathmandu Valley. Surrounded and protected by the highest mountains in the world in a truly magical setting where the Earth seems to touch the sky, the Golden Kingdom of the Himalayas lives on in perfect timeless beauty and majestic brilliance!
