Dr Ho's dream was to do good for the people, and one of the goals was to keep everyone healthy. Over the years, the brand - Ho Yan Hor, which means Everyone Can - has grown to be popular with the people, and an icon of health drink in Malaysia.
The Ho Yan Hor Museum resides at the two-storey building where Dr Ho started this iconic tea. It is in honor and memory of his achievements, and offer an in-depth record of Dr Ho's journey from start till today.

Perak's finest colonial architecture stands side by side with rickety kedai kopi (coffee shops) in chameleonic Ipoh. The capital of Perak is flanked by towering white cliffs, some with magnificent cave temples pocketed in the limestone. Sliced into old and new towns by the Kinta River, Ipoh charms with its street art and street food – rather like a languid version of George Town.
Ipoh is more than a gateway to the Cameron Highlands or a way station en route to Penang. Shaped by the 1920s tin-mining boom, Ipoh's wealth and population ebbed away after the mines' closure. But an old-town renaissance has revived its time-worn buildings into boutiques, hotels and gorgeously kitsch cafes.
Food is reason enough to visit. Malaysian and Singaporean gastronomes arrive in droves for Ipoh's tauge ayam (chicken bean sprouts) and to argue over who serves the best kopi putih – white coffee, the town's signature drink.

The history of Hor Yan Ho began at Perak in 1941. At that time, Dr.Ho Kai Cheong used these 20 materials to prepare the heat-reducing Heren Ke herbal tea. Herbal tea refreshes throat. This museum is the original residence of the founder Dr. Jichang Chang and his family. Go in and go through herbal tea time

In the year 1941, Ho Yan Hor tea was founded in a small tin-mining town in Perak, called Ipoh, which is now the capital city of Perak. The heritage and medicinal benefits of Ho Yan Hor herbal tea have passed down to the second generation where new pharmaceutical technologies and international product quality standards were incorporated, to provide better health to people for many more generations.

Dulunya, museum ini merupakan rumah Ho Yan Hor. Namun, saat saat ini dijakankan museum sekaligus pusat penjualan Teh Herbal, di #Ipoh, Malaysia.
Bagi anda yang mau tahu sejarah #tehherbal, silahkan berkunjung ketempat ini, jika berkunjung ke Ipoh. Museum ini didirikan untuk mengenang jasa dari dr. Ho, tabib kenamaan dari Ipoh yang juga pencipta teh herbal bernama Ho Yan Hor.
#honyanhor ini awalnya diperkenalkan sejak 1940an. Teh racikan dr Ho ini, awalnya dijual dari rumah ke rumah dengan menggunakan sepeda. Saat ini teh ini telah termashur dan menjadi brand legendaris di Malaysia.
Museum Ho Yan Hor terdiri dari bangunan dua lantai yang direstorasi total oleh organisasi nirlaba bernama ipohworld yang sebelumnya sukses merestorasi museum Han Chin Pet Soo yang letaknya tepat di sebelah museum ini.
Untuk melihat - lihat isi museum ini tak dipungut biaya sama sekali, cukup menuliskan nama dan asal saja di lantai satu. sebelum pulang, staff museum akan membuatkan teh herbal panas dalam tiga sajian yang bisa dinikmati bagi pengunjung.
