There are different night markets open every night of the week in Hua Hin. Thai food markets and night markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets & night markets all over Thailand. At the markets you'll find so much Thai cuisine on offer & the food here is cheap, and so tasty! Thai food has been heavily influenced by Chinese food so you will find lots of familiar flavours.
And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. You’ll find street food on many street corners in Thailand, be it in Hua Hin, Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya or Krabi and at all of the markets. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in Thai restaurants. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.

Hua Hin Night Market - Foodie Fun in Thailand - the Land of Smiles :-)
Gracie grabbed our backpacks and a few days worth of clothes and I took the train from Cha-Am down to Hua Hin (only 6 Baht per person!) one afternoon and decided to stay over for 1 night.
While the Cha-Am Night market is AWESOME, its only once a week on Wednesdays.
This particular Hua Hin Night Market is *every night* and there are actually a few in Hua Hin.
Still, we like Cha-Am a LOT more - its super quiet with a LOT less Farang so I prefer it.
So, this evening we walk over from our hotel and sample some of the food and have a look around.
Thanks for joining us on our walk.
Live the Dream!

Why You MUST Visit HUA HIN!!! (Thailand) - Vlog #104
Where the first golf course in Thailand was built, Hua Hin is a hidden beach paradise nestled close to Bangkok. It's a must visit if you're looking for a nice, clean, beach atmosphere. There's so many things to do around Hua Hin, where this city is considered the gateway city to the Southern Part of Thailand. The Club Room at the Intercontinental Hotel was 12,000 BAHT which is $375 USD / Night. Let me show you why you must visit Hua Hin in a quick video, and stay luxuriously!
Cheers! #SeeLauTravel

Monster 1.1 kg Lobster in Hua Hin, Thailand at Lung Ja Seafood Restaurant (ร้านลุงจ่า)
The last time we visited Hua Hin, Thailand, I had no intention to eat a lobster. But then it happened, and I couldn't resist. Click here for the details -
There's a street in Hua Hin, that at night, turns into a night market. There are all sorts of the usual vendors that sell t-shirts and jewelry, and little snacks to nibble on.... and then, there are the epic seafood vendor that try to lure you in for a lobster, monstrous prawns, fish, and everything else delicious from the sea. So with no intention of actually eating a lobster on this fine evening in Hua Hin, we got sucked and I felt the irresistible pull to order a monstrous 1.1 kg lobster - but I wasn't complaining! Has that ever happened to you?
Anyway, we sat down at Lung Ja Seafood Restaurant (ร้านลุงจ่า), a restaurant I would recommend as one of the top restaurants in Hua Hin. It's located right along the street within the Hua Hin night market, and they have a nice selection of seafood and some very nice staff as well. We chose our lobster with precision and then it to the table to wait as they prepared it. The lobster is first blanched before being tossed on the grill. The chef had informed us that that is the way to cook it for maximum flavor and to ensure the lobster isn't rubbery, but rather soft and tender and juicy.
Along with out monster 1.1 kg lobster in Hua Hin, Lung Ja Seafood Restaurant (ร้านลุงจ่า) also served an award winning plate of fried morning glory vegetable and a wonderful plate of khao pad boo (crab fried rice). Both of the sides dishes were excellent, but they were dwarfed by my anticipation of the lobster.
The lobster arrived on a massive plate, covered in a number of different sauces. Order again, and I would have gotten it with the sauces on the side, to be able to really taste the unique flavor the the lobster, but that being said, the sauces were pretty good and didn't overpower the meaty flesh.
Here's the link so you can eat here too:

What's Dean doing in Thailand
If you are ever in Hua Hin then the Cicada Night Market is well worth a visit. Located south of the town towards Khao Takieb it is easily found as it is right outside the Hyatt Barai Hotel.
From Hua Hin town it will only take you about 10 minutes in one of the tuk-tuks for a fixed price
The Cicada Night market is set in its own grounds and has a large eating area, where you can buy all sorts of Thai foods and then sit down and relax after you have tired yourself out walking around the stalls. You need to buy meal tickets first.

Top Things To Do in Hua Hin
Vana Nava
Welcome to Vananava jungle waterpark! Just opened in December 2014, this is ‘the’ place for a family day of fun! They have the biggest slide in Thailand, the biggest man made waterfall in Asia and some crazy unique slides.
Hua Hin Floating Market
Next up I recommend a visit to the Hua Hin floating market. Unlike any other floating market in Thailand, the whole place was built in elegant vintage style. And all the shops are arranged around a beautiful central lake, which has traditional boats that visitors can ride.
Black Mountain Wakeboard Park
Adventure seekers should definitely check out Black Mountain Wakeboarding park. They have a custom-made arena and it’s a great way to get the adrenalin pumping.
Golf
Hua Hin is famous for golf – and was the first place to have a golf course in Thailand. With 8 world-class courses within 30 minutes of the town, you are spoilt for choice. So don’t forget your clubs.
Cicada
If you want to buy something unique and from local artisans – Cicada is the place. With great food options and an outdoor amphitheater, this make for a fantastic night out.

A glimpse of Hua Hin Night Market, located by the main road (Phet Kasem) at the center of Hua Hin. The vending stalls are set-up and restaurants are open during the sunset to attract locals (from Bangkok) and tourists after their time by the sea and/or doing outdoor activities.
There are great varieties of things that the market has to offer including local delicacies and seafood, and even clothing, CDs, accessories and all other souvenirs. In addition, there are some music performances and shows at the walking street. Tourists can take pleasure in soaking up the night market vibe in Hua Hin.
