Hutsadin Elephant Foundation {Hua Hin, Thailand}
This volunteer opportunity was made possible by those who donated to my GoFundMe account (gofundme.com/go-thai). Thank you so much to those of you who were generous enough to help provide me with transportation, accommodation, and food for the week I volunteered.
-------------------------------------------------
The aim of the Hutsadin Foundation is to care for elephants and give them every opportunity to live a life that's full and pain free. The Hutsadin Elephant foundation was started by three local businessmen to rescue elephants abandoned by their owners due to ill health, old age or simply because they are unable to work any longer. The foundation is a non-profit organisation and any funds received directly benefit the elephants.

Why You Shouldn't Ride Elephants In Thailand.
DON'T WATCH THIS UNLESS YOU'RE PREPARED TO BE SICK ** ** THIS WHY YOU SHOULDN'T RIDE ELEPHANTS IN THAILAND! If you are preparing a trip to Thailand and have any intention of riding elephants, please educate yourself first on how they have been trained for you to ride them. The video I have made today is from the Hudsadin Elephant Sanctuary in Hua Hin an honorable elephant sanctuary that is in the transition phase of turning into a establishment similar to the Elephant nature park in Chiang Mai, and also the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. It takes a long time to change from regular elephant tourism into a proper full non profit sanctuary and the volunteers at Hudsadin and doing everything they can to keep Thai family livelihoods intact while this change takes place. The purpose of my video is to educate viewers thinking to come to Thailand and experience elephant tourism. In Hua Hin this is the only sanctuary that I can endorse so far, because they are really trying to achieve positive change to elephant tourism in this area. When they succeed they will mimic the likes of elephant nature park and that is a worthy cause to support in my opinion.

Baby Elephant - Hutsadin Elephant Foundation {Hua Hin, Thailand}
When the baby Elephant walked past me, I folded back my legs, feet and sucked in my stomach just to make sure it had all the space it needed not to accidentally crush me :-) what an amazing creature!

What's Dean doing in Thailand
Nice temple, lots of people, and plenty of parking! One of the well-known and respected temple that almost every Thai people will go visit while staying in Hua-hin is about 20min driving from the waterpark, not too far, really recommended everyone should visit!
Elephant Village Hua Hin
There are two Elephant Villagers in Hua Hin. Both are nearby the Grand Pavillion, about 2.5 km in distance. I had the opportunity to see a one month baby Elephant and for the first time in my life understood these gentle animals deeper. I was fascinated with the information obtained for example that they could live up to 80 years old, one Mahout per Elephant, a baby Elephant will only consume milk for about one year before eating any solid food and more. It’s an interesting place for the entire family. Just climb on board the back of an Elephant and you are ready to embark on an unforgettable Elephant ride. It’s recommended. Open daily 8.00am - 5.00pm, located at Wat Eitisukato, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110. Tel: 0-3251 6181, 08-9900 8095.

WILD ELEPHANTS in Thailand - Kui Buri National Park (Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan)
This is the best place to see wild elephants in Thailand.
Kui Buri National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan is one of the last few places that you can see wild elephants in Thailand. We headed there this afternoon to see if we could catch a glimpse of these wonderful animals in their natural habitat.
The park is located an hour and a half drive from Hua Hin and easily accessible from Prachuap Khiri Khan Town. We stayed at the Dhevan Dara Resort and Spa which is a half-hour drive from the park. You can check the hotel out by clicking the link below:
Entrance to the park is 200 baht per person (£4.50 / $6) and it costs 850 baht (£20 / $27) for a truck with two guides to take you around the park. Just getting a chance of seeing elephants in the wild was worth the money so please consider coming here instead of going to shows or elephant trekking sites, where the animals are treated appallingly, you won't regret it.
Here's a map with directions to the park:
