Fossilized dinosaur footprints in Goseong, South Korea
Just a quick video of a nice little beach near Goseong, South Korea. The area is famous for all sorts of dinosaur stuff, including a set of roughly 2 dozen fossilized footprints at this little beach.

Dinostar amusement park in Yongin, South Korea
Just a quick video of some footage from our visit to Dinostar in Suji this weekend. It is a nice little amusement park and we all had a lot of fun. Not to mention rural Korea was very lovely thanks to some beautiful fall weather.

화성에 위치한 공룡알 화석지 다녀왔습니다.
(위치: 경기 화성시 송산면 공룡로 659)
역시나 겨울철 화질저하로 화면이 좋지는 못하네요.
그리고 미세먼지도 많아서 뭔가 전반적으로 흐릿한 느낌입니다.
마스크를 썼지만 돌아다니기도 쉽지 않았구요.
얼른 맑은 하늘을 다시 되찾았으면 합니다.

1. Memory of a Fish

Description:
This land, once used to be an ocean, would have been flourished with all kinds of fish freely swimming in the water. I want to provoke their memory in this land by bringing the fish to the location. By filling a wine glass with water and reproducing their world, I wanted to recall the memories of my childhood and the fish that have now left the land to an ocean.
As a fish swims to different places, memory also shifts. By adding this scene of recollecting memories, I attempted to instigate memories from the fish when they returned to the location, which have changed to a land.
The memory from reuniting with my childhood friend, a Pisces born in March, who had returned from study abroad, was the inspiration for this project. I transfused the idea of recalling the memory by equating my friend with a fish into the memory’s rebirth.
I tried to demonstrate that memory does not fade away regardless of location, as a reflection of a mirror itself is water, sky, as well as ocean.
The last acting scene portrays encircling nature: as things goes into ashes, everything returns to its origin. Perhaps the scene also signifies my desire to transform the dried land back into an ocean as well as environmental issues, such as destruction of the nature.

World’s largest dinosaur footprints found in Scotland
Dozens of fossilized dinosaur footprints have been found in Scotland. The tracks belonged to two distinct species of dinosaur and are roughly 170 million years old. The footprints were first discovered by a student two years ago in 2016. The tracks are rare evidence of the Middle Jurassic period, from which very few fossil sites have been found around the world.
