Guarded by rolling hills and caressed by the river Tay, the small town of Grandtully is where São Tomé meets Highland Perthshire. Here, chocolatier Iain Burnett has harnessed local ingredients and mastery of chocolate-making to craft the world’s finest truffle. ‘It’s this landscape that yields such outstanding produce, and alongside our local dairy producers we often use seasonal fruits from Blairgowrie and honey from a nearby apiary’. Providing employment for over a dozen locals and committed to fair trade, chocolate’s never had a better story.

Northamptonshire Police reveal plans to remain at Wootton Hall

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire, Stephen Mold, has today announced that his Office is in advanced negotiations with the Education Funding Agency (EFA) to revise the terms of the sale of part of Wootton Hall, in a move that would see the joint Northamptonshire Police and Fire Headquarters remain on the site.

We have been trading for eight years and we carefully create handmade chocolates. Starting out as a one person operation, Cocoa Ooze now employs 25 team members, enabling us to remain a high quality chocolate producer. We offer seasonal and all year round collections that we sell in our city centre shop, online, to our wholesale and corporate market as well as the wedding market. Our bespoke service 'Cocoa Creative', holds no boundaries and we like to work closely with our clients to create exciting new ideas and products to showcase them and us as a business. By having our very own coffee shop on the ground floor of our premises we like to experiment with new chocolate specialities for our menu, utilising our own chocolate and getting feedback direct from our customers. Our workshop room is upstairs where our highly trained chocolatiers produce our chocolate on a daily basis. While also teaching the art of chocolate making to adults, kids and corporate clients.
