Beautiful Summer Drive Through Glen Quaich Highland Perthshire Scotland
Tour Scotland video of a beautiful Summer drive through Glen Quaich on a single track road past Loch Freuchie ancestry visit to Highland Perthshire. A large number of Scottish people stayed in this area prior to mass emigration, mostly to North Easthope, Canada, in the early 19th Century. Rob Roy MacGregor and Bonnie Prince Charlie passed through here. This road is only wide enough for one vehicle. It has special passing places. If you see a vehicle coming towards you, or the driver behind wants to overtake, try to pull into a passing place on your left, or wait opposite a passing place on your right. Give way to vehicles coming uphill whenever you can. If necessary, reverse until you reach a passing place to let the other vehicle pass.
