The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival 2019 | China
Harbin is known for its incredible Snow and Ice festival. When you search Harbin, China you will more than likely see pictures of the incredible ice castles and sculptures pop up at the top of the page. For good reason.
It has been on our list of things to do in China for the longest time. We did a full-day trip to both the Sun Island snow sculpture exhibition and the Snow and Ice world and loved every minute of it. There are two parks that are a part of the annual ice festival and we give you a look at both so you can decide for yourself if you should see both or pick one.
We chose to find our own way to the parks, via Didi, Chinese Uber and buy our tickets at the parks, but there are tons of tours that run through the park as well. Here is an option if you are in need of a reliable tour service:

TRAVEL VLOG: HARBIN CHINA 2019 | WINTER
Welcome to my first video! :)
Maaf ya kalo kualitas video nya kurang bagus & masih banyak beberapa part yang gak stabil
Aku coba update rangkuman dari Tips dari aku untuk temen2 yang mau ke China ya :
1. Internet Data & Vpn
Kalo liburan bentar aku rekomendasiin buat beli data internet roaming package di
Traveloka, banyak pilihan packagenya bisa nyeesuaiin sama kebutuhan kamu. Boleh di
cek ke Traveloka langsung ya! Tpi kalo stay di china lama, better emang cari simcard.
Pengalaman pernah bikin agak sedikit ribet soalnya. (Detailnya boleh googling lagi ya!)
Vpn rekomendasi, klik link ini :
2. Take Cash.
Bank card aku nganggur disana, mayoritas pakai WeChat pay, Alipay dan cash. WeChat pay
harus bikin pake bank lokal china, aku pakai bank temenku. Beberapa aktifitas emang
lebih mudah pakai WeChat pay, di mini market pun mereka prefer ke WeChat pay
daripada bank card. Lebih jelasnya bisa googling ya guys! :)
3. Keep your body warm enough
luar. Tiap lamaan dikit diluar buat ngomong susah banget ini bibir saking dinginnya! Mon
maaf kalo ngomongnya belibet gitu! Hehe :)
4. Harbin International Ice and Snow World
Cek website official nya di :

Itu aja, sedikit tips dan share video liburan aku di Harbin. Maaf kalo ada salah dan kurangnya
dalam video ini.

Ice sculptors display their handiwork at China's Harbin Ice Festival
Thirty-four teams of artists from around the world continued work on their grand ice sculptures on Monday as the three-day competition in China's north-eastern Harbin, the host of an annual international ice and snow festival, heated up.
Each piece of art, being sculpted by people from 16 countries, including Russia, Canada, Spain, the U.K., and China, was originally a solid block of ice pulled from the nearby Songhua river.

Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, Harbin (China) - Travel Guide
Take a tour of Harbin Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin, China -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
The wealth of snow and ice produced in northeastern China provides the perfect setting for a magical sight; the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival.
This festival, which began in 1963, was stayed for a number of years by the Chinese Cultural Revolution, but was resumed again in 1985.
Each year the festival is themed and usually takes inspiration from Chinese fairy tales or noteworthy monuments around the world.
The festival displays an abundance of different nationalities and cultures both in the sculptures themselves, and the teams who craft them.
These elaborate and intricately carved sculptures can take a team of experienced sculptors the full month of the festival to complete.
Make the most of a cold day or brave a winters night when these massive creations come alive with vivacious lights, at the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival.

6-day China winter tour with Harbin Ice-Snow Festival
This video is about a 6-day winter tour in Beijing & Harbin organized by China Odyssey Tours. Showing the winter scenes in Beijing, Great Wall, and the ice-sculptures, snow-carvings, and ice-lanterns in the ice snow festival in Harbin.
The Massive and Magnificent Harbin, China Ice Festival
People are probably sick of winter by now but put Harbin on your travel schedule. All you have to do is imagine a Disney World and Epcot made out of ice. Cinderella's Castle? Ice. Mickey's ears? Ice. Roman Colosseum wall? Ice.
Try to arrive a little before sunset before buildings are illuminated. The tip of one building will light up with colored lights which slowly spread. Turn 180 degrees to see others doing the same until the entire ice city is glowing. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Ice and Snow Festival, Harbin China
Ice and Snow World is one of the most amazing, interesting, and wonderful experiences in the world. All of the structures and sculptures are made of snow and ice (and lights!). The ice blocks were cut from the Songhua River that flows through Harbin. Average daytime temperatures in January hover around -20 to -25 degrees, so everything stays frozen. It also means you have to wear a lot of layers. Coming straight from Bali, we were unprepared. Here's a video of what we wore:
It is definitely worth the trip (which you can read about on my blog, along with lots of helpful tips and tricks to get there):
