Bullet Train & Imperial Palace in Tokyo / Nick in Japan 2003
Produced and Featured by Nick Lido's Travel Journal at youtube.com/nicklido and EPISODES:
1. Nick at Nozomi speed train. ABOUT THE TRAIN: Nozomi (のぞみ?) is the fastest train service running on the Tōkaidō/Sanyō Shinkansen lines in Japan. The service stops at only the largest stations, and along the stretch between Shin-Osaka and Hakata, Nozomi services using N700 series equipment reach speeds of 300 km/h (186 mph). The trip between Tokyo and Osaka, a distance of 515 kilometres, takes 2 hours 26 minutes on the fastest Nozomi
2. Nick by Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan. ABOUT IMPERIAL PALACE: Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居 Kōkyo, literally, Imperial Residence) is the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. It is a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda area of Tokyo close to Tokyo Station and contains several buildings including the main palace (宮殿 (Kyūden), the private residences of the imperial family, an archive, museum and administrative offices.
It is built on the site of the old Edo castle. The total area including the gardens is 3.41 square kilometres (1.32 sq mi). During the height of the 1980s Japanese property bubble, the palace grounds were valued by some as more than the value of all the real estate in the state of California.
Tokyo In 48 Hours - Japan 2017
VIDEO STARTS AT 1:27
On my way to China, I stopped by Tokyo, where I stayed for less than 72 hours. With only 2 full days to spend visiting one of my favourite cities in the world, I organized a compact itinerary, with hope of seeing as much as possible in such a short time.
Day 1: Tsukiji Fish Market - Ginza Shopping District - Chiyoda (Imperial Palace) - Harajuku (Takeshita Street & Tokyu Plaza) - Meiji Shrine
Day 2 : Akihabara - Asakusa (Senso-Ji Temple) - Skytree - Ueno (Ameya-Yokocho Market & Park) - Ikebukuro (Sunshine City) - Shinjuku (Omoide Yokocho & Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building)

One Fast Day in Tokyo: The Imperial Palace Gardens
Our walk continued from the Ginza into Marunouchi, Tokyo's leading business area and where the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and Bank of Japan are located. Through the business district to the Imperial Palace and across the moat to enter.
The Imperial Palace was once known as Edo Castle and belonged to the Tokugawa family. Visitors are only allowed into the Imperial section twice a year and we turned into the magnificent East Gardens with its Japanese garden, a woodland grove and trees representing Japan's 47 prefectures, trees and flowers in bloom right now; an idyllic place with no time to linger. There was a lot more to see and only one day to do it in.
Imperial Hotel Tokyo, 125 Anniversary Lobby Concert
Okura Shonosuke and his friend played for the 125 years anniversary at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. It was an amazing experience to see Okura-san playing the O-Tsuzumi, the larger drum which is used in No theatre. The flute player was fantastic as well.
Tokyo Day 3 - The Imperial Palace, Shibuya and Harajuku
Hi guys!
Today we went to the Tokyo imperial palace to have a tour of the grounds and the gardens! Then we went to the famous shibuya crossing to meet our Japanese friend, Kei, who showed us around shibuya, Harajuku and the Meiji Jingu shrine!

One lap in running at Yoyogi Park Park
Yoyogi Park is an urban oasis close to the center of youth culture such as Harajuku and Shibuya.
A running course full of greenery is available 1.5 to 2 km per lap and several courses can be selected.
Families, couples and young people are overflowing on holidays, and the use of picnics by foreigners living in Japan is increasing in recent years.
There is a festival atmosphere throughout the year by people who enjoy drinking and snacks by spreading sheets on the central grass plaza.
