Must Visit Places In Delhi | A Day Tour in Hop On Hop Off Bus | DesiGirl Traveller
Sightseeing tour is something we all wish to do when we visit to a new city. I love it too and that’s why I decided to take a sightseeing tour in Delhi – the capital city of India. I feel it is fun to explore your own city like a tourist. So, in this video, I have travelled in HOHO (Hop On/Hop Off) Bus to a few of the must-visit places of Delhi.
HOHO bus is a sightseeing tour (a part of Delhi Tourism) initiative to help the tourists explore the must-visit places of Delhi in the best possible manner. What makes HOHO bus tour different than organized tours by travel agencies is the fact that HOHO bus tour is inexpensive, flexible and doesn’t require a definite planning in advance. The ticket price is Rs 500 for 1 day trip in which you can travel to 20 tourists’ places in Delhi. There is a HOHO bus at every 40-45 mins at the dedicated bus stops in Delhi. The routes of Hop On Hop Off bus cover museums, monuments, gardens, galleries, hotels, bazaars, shopping malls etc. Overall, the service of this tour bus by Delhi Tourism is designed to offer a complete experience of the capital city of India to a tourist.
The ticket price doesn’t include tickets of monuments and other sites. You have to buy separate tickets for every monuments and sites of Delhi which you visit. Timing of the bus is: 7.50 am. 8.30 am, 9.10 am, 9.50 am, 10.30 am and so on. The bus starts from Baba Khadak Singh Marg. The earlier you start the more places you get to visit.
You can book the ticket either from the counter at HOHO Bus office at Baba Khadak Sign Marg, or buy it online from You can even buy entry ticket online for monuments like Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort etc and save time.
How to reach HOHO Bus Office:
Metro – Nearest Metro Rajeev Chowk Metro Station. Exit Gate No 7 (8 mins walking distance) From Airport – 20 mins by Express Metro from T3 to Shivaji Stadium metro station, (4 mins from HOHO Centre)

During my second day in Delhi I partnered up with Tours by Locals to explore the best places you must visit in Delhi plus we went to eat Southern Indian Food for lunch! Tours By Locals in Delhi:
TRAVEL HUSTLE REPEAT GEAR ►
MY FILM MAKING KIT ►
Abhay, my guide, took me to see all the main attractions in Old Delhi and also a few must visits just a short tuk tuk or metro ride away. We started our tour in Chandni Chowk, there we visit Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Red Fort, Meena Bazaar, Sunday Market and Jama Masjid the biggest mosque in Delhi.
From there we headed to the India Gate, then Hauz Khas neighborhood where we visited Naivedyam, a delicious southern Indian restaurant where we ate Papadum, Masala Dosa, Idli and Sweet Paan.
Next up was Hauz Khas ruins, which was the second city of Delhi dating back to 1296 - 1316. From there we took a tuk tuk, metro and tuk tuk again to Qutub Minar the world tallest freestanding minaret.
These were incredible places you must visit in Delhi! Have you been to any of these locations?

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Incredible India - Delhi Trip
I had butterflies in my stomach when we planned our trip to India with our cousins. Been warned about safety and drinking tap water (I pretty much brushed my teeth with bottled water and ora care) and the fact that anything new to me is both scary and exciting at the same time. But everything was organized and well planned on this trip. We booked a yoga meditation class, Indian cooking lessons and much more!

BUILDER’S JOURNAL presents:
TRAVELING AS IT IS! – is a compilation of raw video footages of my traveling adventure. My concept of traveling is riding public transportation, a road trip from home to a job destination or just a stroll around the neighborhood. You can hear, feel and see the “REAL” sights & sounds of a place or destination that are usually not tourist trail. There is a lot of street food to taste, adventures to encounter, lots of local friendly people to meet and sometimes, meeting fellow travelers wanting to share their own personal traveling experiences. ENJOYING LIFE - AS IT IS!
This is a video journal of our budget travel to the incredible country of India featuring our bus ride adventure from Agra to New Delhi.
