Delhi, India is a true CURRY HEAVEN, and we traveled here to go for this DEEP Street Food tour of Old Delhi! The Food Ranger (Trevor James) is in India eating Street Food! This walk through Old delhi truly was an AMAZING STREET FOOD ADVENTURE with delicious curry, amazing restaurants, and with so much tasty and UNIQUE Indian food recipes for our huge Indian dinner.
If you love eating street food around the world and street food in India, or even all over Asia, you will love the street food in Old Delhi. You can find street food everywhere, where everyone seems to cook delicious Indian recipes for curry and SPICY dishes all over the street.
In one day in old Delhi, India, we had 7 delicious street foods all made in the halal style.
We started out the day with an AMAZING ramadan experience at the largest Mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid. We picked up a ton of different Indian street foods to bring to the mosque and break the fast with all the locals. We shared the delicious food, and then went back to the streets of Old Delhi to try more food.
The first food we had on our street food tour was the Delhi Fried Chicken, DFC, covered in Indian spices like masala and mustard. It was extremely JUICY and PLUMP!!!
Afterwards, we tried more BBQ chicken and then went for a nice Indian dinner cooked by one of the locals in Old Delhi. His family recipes were passed down to him and his food was legendary! We ate Indian Chicken Biryani and chicken korma curry along with Buffalo Korma along with Kameeri Roti! It was absolutely delicious!
After this, we went to the LEGENDARY Changezi chicken joint that invented the recipe for this juicy and flavour packed chicken curry dish!
To finish of the day, we went for some delicious BBQ Seekh Kebabs, extremely flavourful!!
The addresses for these street food restaurants in Old Delhi, India, are found on the main street below Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, India.

Welcome to the beginning of our INDIA STREET FOOD series! We are starting the tour in AMRITSAR, the capital of PUNJAB and full of delicious Punjabi cuisine. In this episode we start the day at a famous Indian breakfast stall Giani Tea Stall to try kachori, butter bread and chai (120 INR / 1.69 USD). It was so buttery and delicious on a cold morning. Next, we go to the Golden Temple, Harmandir Sahiba, to marvel at its beauty. It was free to enter, but you must cover your head. Then we head deep into OLD Amritsar to taste its history. Our first stop was at Punjabi restaurant Kesar Da Dhaba, where they serve a Punjabi thali (255 INR / 3.58 USD) as well as some regional desserts, kulfi (70 INR / 0.98 USD) and phirni (50 INR / 0.70 USD).
Exploring through the narrow alleys by rickshaw is a lot of fun and we stopped to have a lassi, something you CANNOT MISS on a trip to INDIA! Gian Di Lassi makes them fresh and has a unique Punjabi flavour, although it is very sweet (120 INR / 1.69 USD). Before leaving Old Amritsar, we wanted to savour some meat! We went to Joginder Dhaba for some buttery chicken curry (350 INR / 4.92 USD), and the chef was nice enough to show us all the different meats he had cooking street side.
We were super full on Indian STREET FOOD but we had to make one more stop at the end of the day. We wanted to eat the famous Punjabi fried fish and went to Makhan Fish and Chicken Corner. This place has been around since 1962!!! We ordered their deliciously thick river fish that is fried to perfection (390 INR / 5.48 USD), chicken tandoor (240 INR / 3.37 USD), mutton tikka (420 INR / 5.90 USD) and of course, butter chicken (350 INR / 4.92 USD). It was a full Punjabi FEAST and the fish was so DELICIOUS!!!

BEST INDIAN FOOD IN DELHI ???? Famous Indian Street Food and Restaurants in Delhi India
We show you the best Indian food in Delhi, with the help of our local Indian friend! We tried 6 mouthwatering, famous Indian street food stalls and restaurants around New Delhi that we highly suggest you check out for a taste of authentic Indian food! Pani Puri, the original Butter Chicken recipe, South Indian Dosa and more!
This was Ryan’s first time trying Indian food, so for everyone who has been pestering him to try new foods, this is the video to watch!! With the help of our friend Minokshi, Ryan was able to try some of the best food in India and he loved it!
Our first stop on our Delhi food tour was Moti Mahal, a historic restaurant in Old Delhi which is said to have made the first ever butter chicken. Stacia also got a little adventurous and ordered Goat Brain Masala. Needless to say, the butter chicken was the star of this show ;) If you are looking for a good place to enjoy some Old Delhi food, Moti Mahal is our top choice for restaurants.
Second we ventured down to South Delhi to try one of the best Biriyani dishes in the city at Al-Nawaz. The biriyani is special here because it is made with raw spices instead of power, giving it a full natural flavor. The biriyani was one of the cheapest items in our Delhi Food Vlog coming in at 200 Rupee or $2.80 and feeds 2 people.
Third, and possibly our favorite, was a taste of South Indian food at Saravana Bhavan. We ordered paper dosa cooked in Indian ghee, Indian filter coffee, and some amazing desserts!
We then ventured into Old Delhi to see a little bit more of the Delhi street food scene. We kept seeing these round fried balls on the street and these street food stalls are always so busy! We found out the snack is called Pani Puri, a fried wheat ball filled with either tangy or sweet liquid made to order. Pani Puri is considered some of the most popular and best food in India, as many commuters stand at the Pani Puri stalls for a quick snack while moving throughout their day.
Next up on the Indian street food tour we found ourselves at a night market near Jama Masjid. Some of the best street foods in Delhi is said to be lining these streets that come alive every night until almost midnight. We were here to go to the oldest restaurant in Delhi, Karim’s, to sample their famous Kebabs. Tucked away in an alley, we found the restaurant packed to the brim. The kebabs were good, but it’s the history that made this place special. If you’re wondering what to eat in Delhi, don’t miss the oldest and most historic restaurant in the city!
Last, but certainly not least, was a street food dessert made from carrots, pistachios, curd, and cashews. It sounds strange, but it was so good! Even though we were so full, this was one of our favorite little dishes. If you’re into street food India definitely has some of the best.
Thanks to Minokshi, we were able to try the best Indian food in Delhi and have an amazing experience. No, we did not get sick, so if you are interested in trying some of the best food in India make sure you follow this list! We hope you guys liked this Delhi food vlog and let us know if you have any questions.
We have some more India videos coming out soon, so make sure to subscribe! If you are considering traveling to India, please feel free to comment down below and ask about anything from what to do in Delhi, where to stay, or if it’s safe for women.
If you enjoyed this video, go check out of playlist filled with street food videos from across the world. Thanks for watching, we’ll see you guys in the next video… seeya!

After traveling around Delhi for the private, our guide took us to this humble restaurant situated on top on a souvenir shop, you know where we're going with this, right? hahaha. Anyway, the food was actually really nice. We loved it! Especially with Rogan Josh! The bill was settled, it was fine (not too expensive, not too cheap). Then we went down to the souvenir shop to look at some stuff. I finally had the chance to get my mom some garments, she'd like some embroidered fabric. After that, we left Delhi straight away to Agra for our next day tour at Taj Mahal. The ride was fantastic! Our driver was just very attentive and good at what he's doing. Tomorrow is Taj Mahal day!

In today’s episode, we are continuing to explore Amritsar’s street food scene, eating tons of AMAZING Punjabi specialties. And later in the episode, we are heading to the Indian / Pakistan border to watch the daily ceremony, and eat some delicious Pakistani food nearby.
We start the day at the Telephone Exchange, an area packed with street food. Our first stop is for Punjabi style poori, which is a deep fried puffy dough served with thick chana masala (chick pea gravy). Just nearby the Telephone Exchange, there was a stall serving a buttery paneer bhurji (scrambled cheese with onions, tomatoes and spices). Scooping the thick paneer chucks into the slice of bread is HEAVEN! Gaurav wanted to show us a famous and unknown stall that serves a RARE winter specialty, jaggery pudding. It was so good we all ate a few!
For lunch, we went to the famous Ashok Kumar Kulche Wala for a big plate of buttery kulcha (flatbread). This stall is packed with locals eating this Punjabi specialty right on the street. Watching them make the kulcha at all different stations was interesting to watch! The kulcha was served with a chutney and chana masala, and it was really SPICY!
Since Amritsar is very close to Pakistan (Wagah border) we decided to go watch the daily flag lowering ceremony between India and Pakistan. It was PACKED with people from all over India and the world! After the ceremony, we visited a restaurant called Sarhad (which translates to “border”) to try some Pakistani dishes. The concept of the restaurant is to promote peace, between India and Pakistan, through the love of food! We ordered chapli kebab (minced mutton kebab) and Lahori murgh (Pakistani style chicken). It was delicious and the owner was kind enough to show us the entire complex, which features Pakistani art pieces, clothing and furniture. If you want to visit any of these places yourself, check the info below:

FIRST TIME IN INDIA - Amazing Places in Delhi, India
WOW! That’s all we can say about our first time in India! We did a little research and found some amazing places in Delhi, India to visit during our 2 week stay. Today we’ll show you around Jama Masjid and Humayun’s Tomb, two beautiful monuments in the heart of the city in New Delhi, India! You don’t want to miss these.
Walking down the streets of Old Delhi, we were so overwhelmed with smells, sounds, and people. We can’t believe this is Delhi, India! It’s just like something we’ve never experienced before and I think it’s hard to even capture it on film. If you plan to travel to India, you’ll soon know what we mean. However, the two places we visited are some of the best places in Delhi to visit once you arrive in India.
Our first stop was Jama Masjid which is a mosque in Old Delhi, India. The mosque itself was built in 1656 AD and it’s courtyard can hold up to 25,000 people at one time for payer. Jama Masjid is absolutely gorgeous, but make sure you follow the non-muslim visiting hours. Even though we arrived during non-muslim visiting hours, we got kicked out. That was pretty disappointing because we wanted to film a bit more there and show you the beauty of this place in our India travel vlog. But, rules are rules! A little tip, if you bring a camera into the mosque it’s 300 Rupee per person ($4 usd)
Next we walked through the streets of Delhi and got a taste for local life in India. We walked through the Old Delhi neighborhood and saw vegetable markets set up on the sidewalk, morning commuters grabbing coffee from their favorite stand, and witnessed what living in India must feel like.
We then headed over to central Delhi to visit Humayun’s Tomb. If you ask anyone what to do in Delhi, they will tell you to visit Humayun’s Tomb. Built in the mid 1500’s by Persian architects, the monument was actually the structure that inspired the famous Taj Mahal. Now that’s some serious history! Although the Taj Mahal gets all the credit, Humayun’s Tomb is absolutely breathtaking and it was the first structure of it’s size to be built in all red sandstone.
Being our first time in Delhi, we think these two attractions were a great introduction into the history of the city and to India as a whole. Both Jama Masjid and Humayun’s Tomb are two things we recommend you must do in Delhi! A lot of people take Delhi as a starting point to go explore other places in India, however we think New Delhi city is a great place to experience the culture of India without too many tourists weighing down your experience.
We hope you enjoyed seeing our first time in India! We are exploring hidden gems, India street food, and tourist spots in Delhi India for the next two weeks. So make sure to subscribe for more India travel vlogs!

Each month we rent an apartment or airbnb in a different city or country, so follow along on this journey and learn about countries around the world. In this episode, we will start our journey towards Agra from Delhi. Agra is a beautiful city located on the banks of River Yamuna in the Indian state Uttar Pradesh. The city was once the capital of Famous Mughal Rulers. Currently, it is one of the prime tourist attractions of the country as it has some most notable Mughal-era buildings like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri. All of these places are now UNESCO World Heritage sites.

DELHI Agrasen Ki Baoli + Humayun’s Tomb (Golden Triangle India Private Tour Experience)
***THREE CAMBODIANS IN INDIA Episode 7 ខ្មែរបីនាក់ទៅលេងឥណ្ឌា (Stream at 1080p for BETTER-QUALITY video)*** ទៅដើរលេងនៅឥណ្ឌា
Welcome to my new vlog!!! Today we start off our golden triangle india trip in Delhi! I'm so excited to share this with you guys. We went there in November so it was at the height of the smog. It was so bad, I never saw anything quite like this. It was pretty bad in Hyderabad but in Delhi was even worse. Anyway, we bought a private tour from Klook, it was so convenience. The only general problem is they are outsourced which means there is no certain standard for all tour guides and drivers. If you are lucky, you get good tour guides with good attitude and knowledge. You get one driver throughout the entire tour and then he will drive you around the states/destinations, and he would pick up local tour guides along the way which to my understandings they are pre-arranged by the agency. The good thing about this private tour is that you can customise it anything you want but they always bring you back to a private shopping experience - you know...for a commission. We started off the tour with some driving along Delhi busy road because it was heavily smogged in the morning. Then, we arrived at Agrasen Ki Baoli which used to be a royal bath house for kings and queens. Not everyone gets to come there for the tour but our tour guide wanted to showed us something different. Next stops include India Gate, The Government House and of course Humayun’s Tomb.
