Analog Aerials by Emmanuel nkuranga
nalog Aerials Exhibition
The “Analog Aerials” solo exhibition expands beyond the gallery, showcasing works throughout the Inema Art Center Grounds.
Emmanuel has scoured the country to find e-waste that brings the beauty of the computer outside of the box. Combining motherboards, resins, paints, wood, keyboards, and other heavy industrial parts, Nkuranga builds cityscapes that throw your perspective of the small and the large into contrast.
Nkuranga’s work includes musical instruments, including an upright piano and guitars, seen for the beauty of their form, rather than their sound.
The show forces the viewer to stretch their thinking beyond the simple 2D canvas.
