Japan VLOG #5 | Cherry Blossoms in Osaka & Itsukushima Shrine (Miyajima Island)
Hey guys! In this video I'm taking you to Osaka and Hiroshima (Miyajima Island) to see the infamous Itsukushima shrine. The cherry blossoms in Osaka were in full bloom so it was the most beautiful scenery I've seen so far in Japan (although I say that every video). But honestly, the most beautiful sight of cherry blossoms I've seen as well as the mesmerizing floating shrine at Miyajima Island. Enjoy! xx

【4K】Walking on Miyajima (Itsukushima)
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
I finally went to Hiroshima and Miyajima was the final destination but I decided to make its video the first. I could use here my drone, hope you like it. Accidentally I enabled one of scene modes so that is why colours are so bright I hope it's not that bad.
In this video you may see mud, seaweeds, Miyajima Torii, shrines, shops, people, deer, more deer, and deer feeding. Unfortunately Itsukushima shrine was too crowded and filming was prohibited.

Time 11/04 2pm
Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Audio-Technica AT9946CM mic. Aerial parts filmed with DJI Mavic 2 Pro.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

Japan Trip Miyajima
Miyajima is an island in the Seto Inland Sea. It is about 20km from Hiroshima. Miyajima is rated as one of the most scenic places in Japan. Miyajima is home to the iconic Itsukushima Shrine aka “the floating shrine” and its grand gate the Otorii. These were the focus of our visit, but there are many more reasons to come here including: Mt. Misen including its virgin forest, shrines and temples; Daishoin Temple, Senjokaku Palace; Daiganji Temple; and the old town area.
We reached Miyajime via tram from Hiroshima (about 45 minutes) and then JR Ferry across the bay (about 10 minutes). Miyajima can also be reached by taking the JR Sanylo line out of Hiroshima and then the ferry, or by taking a ferry direct from Hiroshima.
We stayed at the Hotel Miya Rikyu. Great traditional style. Food and onsen were wonderful. After the evening meal the hotel had a Taiko drum performance, and then we walked around town in our yukatas and geta. It was a magical evening! NOTE: It’s difficult to get a room on the island so plan well ahead of your trip.

Hiroshima, Miyajima, and Tokyo - Japan Vlog5
It's impossible to visit Japan as an American without being aware of the US military impact there, none more significant than the nuclear strike on Hiroshima during WWII. In spite of losing 140,000 lives in the attack, the city has proven itself incredibly resilient. From their famous local style of okonomiyaki (with noodles) to their NPB baseball team (the Carp) and the surrounding rivers and mountains, Hiroshima was honestly one of the most beautiful and proud cities we visited on our trip.

KIRIE @ JAPAN 2019 TAG 2 - SHIBUYA SHOPPING & ERSTE KIRSCHBLÜTEN AM MEGURO RIVER
23.3.2019. Zweiter Tag beziehungsweise erster Tag so richtig in Japan.

Always discover the smaller areas of Tokyo, because you find such hidden treasure like this!
This time, my wanderings lead me to Miyamasu Mitake Shrine in Shibuya, a not so well known Wolf Shrine. I love wolves (In case it isn't obvious!) so this was perfect!
Who would think you'd find this right in the heart of Tokyo?
Thank you so much to my friend Tomoko for informing me of this place ^-^

Tokyo Travel Vlog Part 3 || Travel with SO (Asakusa, Ueno Park, Akihabara, Hie Shrine, Naka Meguro)
???? Our final Tokyo travel vlog! We were mostly exhausted from the previous days. Our final days at Tokyo were spent with us touring in a half-assed fashion (our stamina was just non-existent). We still tried our best to visit some of the well-known areas in Tokyo like the Asakusa, Ueno Park, Omoide Yokocho, etc.
Looking back at our vlogs, I wish we have done more or prepared ourselves better for the trip, but I’m sure there will be another trip for us to revisit Japan!

A Chill Day In Tokyo's Quiet Neighbourhood, Nakameguro // Solo Travel Japan Vlog #13
Nakameguro is a gorgeous, riverside neighbourhood that is full of crowds during sakura season, but is calm and quiet for the rest of the year.
I visited this ~normally~ chilled out district on my first day in Tokyo (vlog linked below!) to see the cherry blossoms this area is famous for, but it was waaaaay too crowded with hanami-goers!
So in today's video, I head back to Nakameguro during off-peak, and I couldn't have asked for a better day - there was barely anyone around, almost all of the cafes I went to were completely empty, and I STILL got to see some sakura flowers!
I also made the trip to Meguro Sky Garden - a haven in a Tokyo's concrete jungle - and then back to Shibuya for the famous Ichiran booth ramen for dinner.
Hope you enjoy the vlog!
