CROATIA: MY SCENIC FERRY RIDE ride from SPLIT to island of HVAR and back ⛴️
SUBSCRIBE: - Ferry ride from Split to Hvar (Croatia). Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Split, a town on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, is known for its beaches and the fortresslike complex at its center, Diocletian's Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards are a cathedral and numerous shops, bars, cafes, hotels and houses.
Croatia is an Eastern European country with a long coastline on the Adriatic Sea. Encompassing more than a thousand islands, it's also crossed by the Dinaric Alps. Its inland capital, Zagreb, is distinguished by its medieval Gornji Grad (Upper Town) and diverse museums. The major coastal city Dubrovnik has massive 16th-century walls encircling an Old Town with Gothic and Renaissance buildings.

SPLIT Ferry Port - Croatia Ferries // Trajektna Luka Split ▶4K
The Split ferry port is the largest passenger seaport in Croatia and considered the 3rd busiest port on the Mediterranean. It has lines connecting Split with the rest of Croatia like Dubrovnik, Rijeka and the islands as well as international routes to Ancona and Pescara in Italy.
The Split ferry port is easily accessible by all kinds of transportation - both the train station and the main bus station are located in the port area. The Eastern part of the city's harbor attracts a large number of visitors due to the vicinity of the city center - the historical part of the town and the big open market.
Split is the main base of catamaran connections in Central Dalmatia. The islands of Brač, Hvar, Šolta and Čiovo are situated in front of Split and are connected with frequent catamaran lines and car ferry lines.

Hvar ferry to Split, Croatia + bus ride to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina Travel Food Video Transcript:
Well good morning good morning. It is another very early start to the day today. We are leaving Hvar Island and traveling all the way to Mostar. Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
So our ferry is here and it is massive. It is a behemoth in comparison to the one that we took coming to the island. This one is called Lastovo. Lastovo. I mean it is by Jadrolinija the same company. So yeah, yeah. How many stories is that? I don't know. It looks like a cruise ship almost. It is huge I'm glad they brought the big ship yes for the storm we're going to need it. The waves are fierce this morning.
Okie dokie. We are here. We are back in Split. That was a really bumpy ferry ride. Oh yeah. I was feeling nauseous. A kid puked. Haha. Twice. Right in front of you. Right in front of me. Kind of gross but anyways we have to go catch our bus now. Tickets in hand. We're going to Mostar. We sure are. Let's go find our bus and the terminal.
We've got pizza slices and cheese burek and you've got one over here. Yummy? We're lucky we had a little bit of change left. I didn't know if we could actually get we spent the last of our Kuna here. We literally like spent it all just now. So we get two pizza slices and a burek. Also our bus door is open so maybe we can go get on.
Actually yeah the weather the weather is awful. Oh my gosh. We are soaking wet. It has been pouring like it is coming down like a curtain like a sheet of water. How would you describe it? Yeah. It is just like raining sideways basically. It is. It is just yeah nice to get on the bus. It is toasty in here. It is dry the heat is on. So we're planning to sleep for a few hours and before we know it we'll be in Mostar.
Alright alright. We have arrived at our airbnb yes. Oh my gosh guys we owe you the biggest update. So yeah, the bus trip went really well. Um, the weather improved. It started off awful as you remember. Yes. And then the rain started to slow down a bit. It is not like it became like really nice outside but it just kind of got a little bit better.
And yeah, we were going down the coast for a long while and then we kind of veered off into the left and then the landscape completely changed. It was more like lakes, rivers, mountains. And yeah, the border crossing was an absolute cinch. Super quick. Everything has been super easy. I was all border crossing were like the Balkans. Yeah. So far we handed over our passports to the bus driver uh he went and got them stamped. Brought them back on and that was it. The only other event that was noteworthy was that we had to change buses right at the last minute. Yeah. And that was right near the end of the journey. Yeah, the last leg to Mostar was on a different bus.
We are back from dinner. We're back at our airbnb and we're tired so yeah it has been a long day of travels so we're just going to relax and then go to bed. See you in the next video where we'll actually show you around Mostar and maybe try some of the food. Exactly. Bye.

Day 7 - Croatian Coast - Senj to Prizna.wmv
On day 7 - 29/5/10 - we drove from Bled in Slovenia to Croatia where we drove down the stunning coast road and took the ferry to our destination on Pag Island. It was an amazing change of scenery in the course of one day's drive. Filmed on the x170 helmet camera from my V-Strom. John's BMW R1150RT up front. Early summer is a good time to drive the coast road - when it's quiet. Croatia is a nice place and the people are very friendly. Go see it!

Island Hopping in Croatia | How to Travel from Hvar to Bol
In this video, Chris makes coffee, can't find a seat, and struggles with the luggage.
Traveling between Croatia's islands is pretty straight forward. Buy a ticket from Jadrolinija (pronounced ya-dro-lean-ya), make sure you get on the right ferry, and bam! you're there. Our number one tip? Get in line early so you can get a seat.

The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.
Currently, I have already visited nearly 170 countries and my world tour continues thanks to you who follow me.
