► Prague
Prague is the capital city in the Czech Republic, the 14th largest city in the European Union and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava river, the city is home to about 1.3 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of 2.6 million. The city has a temperate climate, with warm summers and chilly winters.
► Decin
Děčín is a town in the north of the Czech Republic. It is the largest town and administrative seat of the Děčín District. From 1938 to 1945 it was one of the municipalities in Sudetenland, then controlled by Nazi Germany. Nearby, there is an important border crossing of the Elbe Valley railway en route to Dresden in Germany. Děčín station is about 83 minutes north of Prague by rail. A parallel highway along the Elbe river across the border to Bad Schandau was laid out by the Germans in 1938. All cargo transported by rail, road, and water passes through the town. Products made in Děčín include sheet-metal, food, textiles, chemicals, soap, beer and preserved fish; the town is also home to printing and publishing companies.
► Ještěd
Ještěd is the highest mountain peak (1.012 m) of the Ještěd-Kozákov Ridge near Liberec in the north of the Czech Republic. From the summit there are views into Germany and Poland. The Horní Hanychov region of Liberec lies just below the mountain.
On the summit is the Ještěd Tower restaurant, hotel and television tower, designed by Karel Hubáček, accessible by road or cable car (Ještěd Cable car). The mountain also has a ski resort.
► Litomerice
Litoměřice is a town at the junction of the rivers Elbe (Czech: Labe) and Ohře (German: Eger) in the northern part of the Czech Republic, approximately 64 km northwest of Prague.
The area within the Ústí nad Labem Region is sometimes called The Garden of Bohemia due to the mild weather conditions important for growing fruits and grapes. During the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, many pensioners chose it over more southern areas of the Empire.
The town is also the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Litoměřice (part of Archdiocese of Prague), the 4th oldest – and 3rd still existing – Catholic diocese on present Czech territory.
► Sazava
Sázava is a town and municipality in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It lies between Tábor and Prague on a bend on Sázava river. It had a population of 3,730 as of 2017.
The settlement coalesced around Sázava Monastery, established 1032 and destroyed in the Hussite Wars, in 1421. The village near the monastery is recorded as early as 1053, and under the name Buda in 1788. The name Schwarz-Buda is recorded in 1844. The former village is now the western part of Sázava town, known as Černé Budy (German Schwarzbuda or Klosterdorf), on the right bank of Sázava river. The monastery church now operates as the Roman Catholic parish church of Černé Budy. The municipal name of Sázava is modern.

Winter Quarters: Sleeping in a TV Tower | Euromaxx
The Ještěd hotel is a futuristic-looking building from 1973, located in the Czech Republic. It sits on the peak of the same name in the Jizera mountains, a popular winter sports region. The rooms resemble cabins on a spaceship so euromaxx headed there for an out of the ordinary experience.

The Last of her KIND.
The cable car Krupka (Graupen)-Komáří Vížka (Mückentürmchen) built 1950-1952 by Transporta Chrudim under license from VonRoll VR101 for the terminals, is the last one still in operating cable car of its kind in the world and one of the longest cable car in the Czech Republic. It runs from Krupka/Bohosudov (Mariaschein) to Komáří hůrka (Mückenberg), while it overcomes a height difference of 482 meters over a length of 2348 meters.
A trip with her is a journey into the past, in a time where there is still no automatic station circulation and triggered automatic start by hand.
She is still in its original condition, is cherished.
Through the construction of the facility in Pec pod Sněžkou some spare parts to come to Krupka.
Let's hope they still will be no disturbance for many years in operation
Poté, co ukončila provoz lanová dráha na Sněžku již poslední lanovka typu Von Roll VR 101...
TV-DX 25.11.2008: VHF chR1 Nova-TV with TESTCARD

Nova-TV
on VHF ch R1 (49,25MHz) from Praha (Prag, Prague), Czech Republic
It's getting more calm on VHF-1 here in Europe in 2008 even after ARD from Ochsenkopf on VHF ch E4 closed down at 25.11.2008, but we still have a lot of VHF-I transmissions here in Europe especially in the East.
And finally the best:
This video is a journey back to the 1980s: Imagine it was sporadic-e / e-skip and you would receive this testcard from Nova-TV on ch R1 ! Wow, isn't it??? :-)
