Japanese Baseball Game Experience in Tokyo, Japan
Come join me for a Japanese Baseball Game experience at Meiji Jingu Stadium as I watch the Yakult Swallows play against the Chunichi Dragons in Tokyo, Japan. Going to a baseball game in Japan is affordable and the overall experience is incredible given how passionate the fans are for each team. In terms of prices the ticket for the baseball game was 1,300 Yen, beer was 500 Yen and food items were between 400 to 750 Yen in general. Basically, you could watch a game, have a beer and a bite to eat for under $25 USD. If you'd like to watch a baseball game in Tokyo you have the options of the Dragons or the Swallows. The Dragons are the most famous team in the league and tickets are hard to come by so book in advance espeically during the summer months or on weekends.

Japanese Baseball Game Experience in Tokyo, Japan (野球 - やきゅう) Travel Video Transcript:
Good afternoon guys. Today is a bit of a special episode in the sense that I'm not with Audrey. Audrey is off visiting a friend here in Tokyo, Japan.
And what I'm doing today is I'm heading over to the metro station right now with a plan of traveling 4 stops to watch a baseball game here in Tokyo.
And I can't wait to share the entire experience with you because going to a baseball game in Japan is a pretty unique experience.
Finally made it. Jingu Stadium. So guys tonight we've got the Swallows versus the Dragons. And the fans are basically directed to different sides of the stadium so the Swallows fans would go to the first base side as you can see over there on the left and fans of the Dragons would go to the third base side as indicated on the right.
Tokyo Yakult Swallows! Rising! That is the official slogan.
So a few fun facts before I head into the stadium. Japanese Baseball League basically has 12 professional teams I believe. And the teams are not named after cities they are named after companies.
So the very first game we went to in Osaka we watched the Hanshin Tigers and they are named after the Hanshin Electric Company. And sometimes there is multiple teams in some of the big cities. For instance, in Tokyo there is two teams. In Osaka there is two teams.
So yeah it is kind of interesting. It is a smaller league but the fans are super passionate. If it is anything like the game we went to in Osaka I'm going to be in for a real treat.
I'm inside Jingu Stadium but before I sit down and start watching the game I've got to show you the concession. Like the options here at Japanese baseball games is incredible. Like the diversity of food that you can pick up is just insane. Also the prices are really reasonable so let's go take a little bit of a tour of the concessions here at the stadium.
Easily one of the coolest things about baseball here in Japan is that every player has a unique song for them. So when they come up to bat the crowd just has this unique chant that is only for them and it just makes it so festive and so cool.
Okay guys just a few final thoughts here from the game. That was simply awesome. Going to a baseball game in Japan is a must. It is the number one spectator sport in the country. The entertainment value is insane. Even if you're not a baseball fan I'd highly recommend going. The tickets are affordable, the food the concession food is affordable and the entertainment value is incredible. The level of play is really high, the fans get into it like I've never seen fans so passionate. So if you're thinking of going to a baseball game in Japan definitely do it and we'll see you guys soon with more food and travel videos from Japan. Ciao for now.
This is part of our Travel in Japan video series showcasing Japanese food, Japanese culture and Japanese cuisine.

My first time going to a real baseball game in JAPAN!!! I was lucky enough to go with my boyfriend and his coworkers and have an awesome day relaxing, drinking, and watching a game.

Slow TV - 1 Hour Walking in Tokyo - From Aoyama to Shinjuku via the 2020 Olympic Stadium - 4K 60fps
This is a video of a slow walk from the Upscale neighbourhood of Aoyama (near Roppongi). The walk takes you past the Meiji Jingu Gaien area, home to the biggest Baseball Stadium in Tokyo. I also pass the construction site of the main stadium for the 2020 Olympic Games, which from the exterior looks more or less finished by now, about one year before the actual games will start.
From Meiji Jingu Gaien, I head past Sendagaya Station on the JR Sobu line and enter the Shinjuku district. First I pass through some quiet residential parts of Shinjuku, but later I get to the insanely busy parts of this big shopping and entertainment district, that also is home to the biggest train station in the entire world.
This video was shot as a test with my new DJI Osmo Pocket. While I have no intention to replace my trusty Fujifilm X-T3 with it, I thought it could be worth trying it out as a back-up or second camera, for those situations when I dont want to lug around my regular gear. What do you think of the video and sound quality of this video? Does it work or should I stop using this camera right away?
I hope you like this travel video from Tokyo. Please let me know if there are any other places you would like to see me visit, or if you have any other opinions about my movies. I would also be more than happy to hear if you have any ideas on what I can do to make my videos better / more interesting.
Thank you for watching, and please subscribe to my channel if you want to see more travel videos from Japan like this.

????????????Walking around New Olympic Stadium Tokyo (construction going on yet)【4K】Shinjuku City, Japan
????????????Walking around New Olympic Stadium Tokyo (新オリンピックスタジアム) (construction going on yet), Shinjuku City (新宿区), Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本). I was walking around the new Olympic Stadium Tokyo (新オリンピックスタジアム東京). I am pretty excited to see the new stadium whose official name is New National Stadium (新国立競技場) before it's opening. The capacity of the new Olympic (National) stadium will be 68,000. With special temporary seats, it will be maximum 80,016 when 2020 Summer Olympics (2020 Tokyo Olympics) (2020年東京オリンピック) will be held. According to some articles, the Tokyo Olympic stadium 90% finished during July 2019 and will open for the first time in December 2019. The construction is still going on yet, but I feel an enormous 80,016 people of excitement. “The stadium will serve as the main stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the venue for track and field events at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Paralympics.” from Wikipedia. Just in case of letting everybody know, I walked from the platform of JR Sendagaya Station (千駄ケ谷駅) (Chuo-Sobu Line (中央・総武緩行線) and passed Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station (国立競技場駅) of Toei Oedo Line (都営地下鉄大江戸線) which is Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (東京都交通局) (Subway). After that, I walked all way around of the stadium and stopped by Japan Olympic Museum. And then I kept walking around the stadium and went to JR Shinanomachi Station (信濃町駅) (Chuo-Sobu Line) because the all stations are nearby the stadium (walking distance 2 minutes to 5 minutes), so after you watch the video, you won’t miss the stadium. Please check it out! It’s in Japan took by Apple iPhone XS Max 【4K video Dual OIS Dual 12MP rear cameras】

Gingko Avenue at Meiji-Jingu Gaien, Tokyo [iPhone 4S/HD]
Meiji-Jingu Gaien, or Meiji Shrine Outer Precinct, is a massive garden including a gallery, a hall and a variety of sports facilities such as National Olympic Stadium and Jingu Baseball Stadium. It was built to honor the Meiji Emperor's deed after his demise and has been run by Meiji Shrine.
The main approach of the garden, that leads you to the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, is outlined with gingko trees. The entrance of the avenue is one meter higher than the end of it. Moreover, it is designed that the trees at the entrance side grow taller than the ones at the end side do. They are to make the avenue and the gallery look more beautiful in perspective.
The trees are gloriously ablaze in late autumn. The warm scenery, in the season in which you feel the advent of winter, is a delight for people walking by.

Shinjuku, Tokyo - Kabukicho, Ichiran Ramen, Golden Gai | Japan travel guide (vlog 4)
Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan! Shinjuku is one of the most unique districts in Tokyo. It's where you find Kabukicho (the famous red-light district), Godzilla head, Omoide Yokocho (Piss Alley), Golden Gai and, why not? Ichiran Ramen. This is not an attraction per se, but Ichiran Ramen restaurant is also considered by many a must-visit in Tokyo, whether you do it in Shinjuku or another district. Japan ramen is really delicious! If you're in Japan for the Rugby World Cup 2019, make sure you visit Shinjuku.
We start by visiting the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building. Totally free and really nice view! From there we pass in front of Shinjuku station, the busiest transport hub in the world, and keep walking to Omoide Yokocho or Piss Alley (the famed drinking street). We then cross Kabukicho, the well-known red-light district in Tokyo, see the Godzilla head come alive, walk through Golden Gai alleyways and finally end up at Ichiran Ramen for an enormous and fantastic bowl of ramen.

► WHO AM I?
Short answer: I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
Detailed answer: ????
P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ;-)
