Cayman Island, Snorkeling Excursion
This is a Carnival Conquest, snorkeling excursion on the Cayman Islands. We took a cruise from Galveston, Texas and one of the stops was Cayman Island. What a beautiful Island! It is certainly the nicest stop on the cruise. The Cayman Islands are much cleaner and generally safer than many of the Caribbean stops. I highly recommend seeing the manta (sting) rays. We got our excursion after getting off the boat for $40 per person. That's a deal considering what we could have paid. It was a 4-5 hour trip that included a bus ride to a private boat. The boat went to Sting Ray sand bars where you get to hold sting rays...even kiss them if you want. Then you leave from there and snorkel in very clear water with tons of fish. You are even treated to a snack of fresh sea food. The guy hops out of the boat and finds lunch! I know, sounds disturbing but it was good and authentic. Awesome experience!

Grand Cayman Sunday Drive (Part 4)
We drive from Savannah To Bodden Town and stop at the Grapetree Cafe for an ice cold Swanky but had to make do with fresh lemonade instead. A chance to enjoy the refreshing offshore breeze and to enjoy the soothing sight and sound of the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea as we look out towards the waves breaking on the reef.
Stay with us for the next video when we drive on towards East End and stop at a roadside coconut stall for more liquid refreshment and a look at one of the blowholes on the iron shore.

Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac
Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac 2007/2008
This video is about the various areas of the Cayman Islands, hotels, nightlife, Christmas time on the island, and the Cayman Brac island itself.
If you want to get off the beaten path and are looking for adventure on your Cayman Islands vacation, then planning a trip to visit to Cayman Brac is a must. Named for its breathtaking 140 ft bluff, the “Brac” is a rugged and charming 14 square miles and provides adventure seekers and nature lovers with the opportunity to get up close and personal with the charming scenery, exotic flora and fauna, and a bat cave!.
Grand Cayman Island is the largest of the three Cayman Islands. Whether you are looking for complete relaxation, upscale dining, exciting nightlife or the awesome underwater sights of the reefs, there is something for everyone.
On the west side of Grand Cayman you will find the beautiful, and famous Seven Mile Beach. The crescent-shaped natural wonder has soft, golden sand stretching as far as the eye can see. Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach is often rated as one of the most beautiful beaches in all the Caribbean - and the least populated.
Take a trip into the North Sound and visit Stingray City and the Sandbar where you and your family have the rare opportunity to play with safe, and friendly Southern Stingrays.
When you’re looking to get off the beach, get lost in the luxury of George Town, where colourful traditional Caribbean-style buildings meet high finance corporations and finish the day off with a sunset cocktail after shopping.

2-19-2017 Stingray City, Grand Cayman Island - Norwegian Epic
We took a catamaran out to the sandbar known as Stingray City. It was a wonderful experience with many of the southern stingrays played about my feet. I was able to hold a couple. The current was strong, thus the shaky camera.

What’s on Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Island?
It's your first look at disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s private island. The island, which is near St. Thomas in the Caribbean, is only accessible by boat. Inside Edition’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero chartered a boat and traveled for about 10 minutes to reach the island. The convicted sex offender was taken into custody July 6 and charged with sex trafficking and conspiracy, accused of luring underage girls to his home for sex. Epstein has pleaded not guilty.
Turtle Reef Shore Dive, Grand Cayman III
The first port of call on our Panama Canal cruise was George Town, Grand Cayman. In the morning, Joe did a refresher course/dive and a full dive of Turtle Reef with Sundivers, operating out of the same location as The Cracked Conch and Macabuca restaurants on West Bay. Steve, my patient and knowledgeable dive instructor, really helped make this a very easy and memorable shore dive.
This is the second of three videos from the full dive with Steve as my guide. It was much more relaxed, and thus much more enjoyable than the refresher dive. Just a lot of fun, period.
On a technical note, this was the first time I used my new Sea Life Dive Light, The video of the wall and drop off bottomed out at around 65 ft.; but as is evident, the light did an excellent job bringing forth the colorful life. So I'm very pleased.
I also used the Underwater setting on the Canon Camcorder, which did work well with the light. Unfortunately, without the light, when snorkeling in shallow, clear, and well-lit water, this setting did not work well; it took a lot more editing to bring out the correct colors since it over-compensated for the red filtering underwater, and in doing so, did not end up as clear as the Auto setting with little editing. So lesson learned, there.
