Sree Kadampuzha Bhagavathy Temple, Malappuram
Dedicated to Kirathaparvathi, Sree Kadampuzha Bhagavathy temple has no idol. Poojas are performed at a hole (about 6 cm in diameter) into which the Goddess is said to have disappeared after showing Her presence to Adi Sankaracharya. Poomoodal or offering of thecchi flowers (Ixora indica) is an important ritual here. Mutturakkal is another offering made by breaking coconuts. The temple is situated about 3 km north of Vettichira on the highway connecting Kozhikode (Calicut) to Thrissur.

Kadampuzha temple is at Kadampuzha in Malappuram district. The temple is dedicated to goddess Durga Devi. There is no idol in the temple and the Devi is worshiped in an underground pit.
The origin of Kadampuzha Temple is associated with the Mahabharatha, the ancient Indian myth, considered to be the greatest story ever told. However the temple as such was founded by Shree Shankaracharya and the month he consecrated Kadampuzha Temple, the day of Karthika in the month of Virshchikam (November – December) is the considered the most auspicious day and is celebrated as the festival day.

Thirumandhamkunnu Temple is a historically significant Hindu temple in Angadipuram, which was the capital of Valluvanad Rajavamsham,in Malappuram district, Kerala state, South India.[1] The temple deity, Thirumandhamkunnil amma, was the bhara devatha (official goddess) of the kings of Valluvanad, the local feudal kings ruled the area in the Middle Ages. The assassins (called Chavers) of Valluvanad king set out from this temple to Thirunavaya, to participate in the famous Mamankam festival. A memorial structure called the chaver thara (platform of the assassins) can be found in front of the main entrance of the Thirumanthamkunnu Temple.[2]
The temple is also an important pilgrim center, especially for the eleven-day-long annual festival celebrated in March and April months of the Gregorian calendar. The principle deity of temple is supreme lord Shiva. But the famous deity is Sree Bhadrakali or Sree Parvathy, locally called as Thirumandhamkunnilamma and the elephant god Ganesha, for whom the famous Marriage Offering (Mangalya puja) is performed. Devotees believe marriage offering (Mangalya pooja) will remove obstacles for one's marriage. Actually Thirumandhamkunnilamma is the supreme mother, Shakthi devi (goddess of power) in Hinduism. Bhadrakali believed to be born from the third eye of lord Shiva to kill the demon king Daruka. Bhadra means good and Kali means goddess of time. Bhadrakali is worshipped for prosperity and salvation. Devi is considered as the creator, protector, destroyer, nature & kundalini.[3] Mangalya Puja, Rigveda Laksharchana, Chandattam and Kalampattu are the important religious offerings of the Thirumanthamkunnu Temple.[4]
There are ceremonies and rituals specific to this Hindu temple that are not carried out at others.[5] The Thirumanthamkunnu Temple courtyards are on a hilltop that provides a view of the countryside spread out below. #hindudevotionalsongsmalayalam

Kadampuzha Devi Temple is a Hindu temple and pilgrimage center at Kadampuzha, near Kuttippuram in Malappuram district, Kerala, India. The temple is dedicated to goddess Durga(Form of Goddess Parvati), a Devi. There is no idol in the temple.
Karthikai day in the month Vrishchikam (November–December), is considered a special day and is celebrated in a grand manner at the temple. The deity is considered more powerful on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Annadaana (food offering) is made daily at the temple. Plastic bags are not allowed inside the temple. The coconuts are to be offered by carrying them on a non-plastic bags.
The temple, owned by Malabar Devaswom Board under the Government of Kerala, is administered through a trust consisting of the Hindu-Variar family and non hereditary co-opted trustees.
There is another temple, Madambiyar Kavu Temple, situated a short distance away from the Kadampuzha Devi Temple, which was originally constructed and maintained by the Thekkencheri Nair family. The idol of the Madambiyar Kavu Temple is god Siva in his Kirata incarnation. #hindudevotionalsongsmalayalam

Kulanallur Sankaranarayana is installed by sage Agastya. Valluvanghat Baladurga is swayambhu and very ancient. Panthallur Durga is Parasurama's installation.It is very important since it is one of the 108 durga temples and is the Paradevatha of Nedumbranat Vallabha kings of Mushaka vansa. Paradevatha of Valluvanad. Punaprathishta was done by Naranath Bhranthan. Avinur Ayyappa and Durga at Pappinippara is also ancient. Manjeri Oranadth Shiva is swayambhu and is a granite temple said to be eructed by Bhoothagana of Shiva. The idols are mutilated including the dwarapalakas. Since here is granite silpa of brahma Vishnu and Shiva on the Sreemukha , according to Vasthusasthra concept the Thrimurthi sankalpa is there. Manjeri Mookathaanna shiva is ancient and a powerful idol which is Keezhedam of Melakkam Kalikav. This Kaali is a swayambhu and is Melakkam Bhadrakali. There is a cave from Moothakunnath Durga temple to Panthallur. Census of kerala temples mentions some incidents related to invasion of Mysore.
