1991 Semag elevator @Arktikum Museum, Rovaniemi Finland
This elevator doesn't look fancy at all, but it shows its character with the original fixtures and the metal color tone.
The most visible part of the museum, its glass corridor, is 172 metres long in all and it is dissected by the 30-metre wide Kittilä highway. The tube serves as the Gateway to the North, as the entrance foyer is at the southern end and guests head north when coming in. The exhibition space is sheltered below the ground, mimicking the way animals in the North take cover from the harsh, cold winter by burrowing under the snow.

Rakennuksen on suunnitellut arkkitehdit Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren ja Eliel Saarinen. Graniittijulkisivuineen ja vuolukivikoristeineen se on yksi Suomen kansallisromanttisen arkkitehtuuriin pääteoksista. Museo avattiin yleisölle 1916.

ℹ️ I had piano exams here so I could film this elevator, but still had to be careful of reception on the ground floor. Do NOT attempt to film here unless you have an event going on in this place.
This is a SEMAG elevator from the 1980’s (?) in the Toi Pōneke Arts Centre. Just about everything about this elevator is original. I’m not exactly sure if this is also partially made by EPL-KONE, but the thin door tracks might suggest it. The original logic shows at 0:30 when the doors shut even before they have opened fully. I started the take on level 2 as it was the quietest, and ended on the ground floor because we were about to leave.

Some of the highlights of the town of Kajaani and from the Scandic Hotel Kajanus I stayed in there and at the Holiday Club Katinkulta spa hotel are being published beforehand. More videos from Kajaani / Kajana (55 elevators in total) will be published at a later date.
This hotel includes 4 elevators in total, of which 2 are 1985 KONE M elevators that were modernized by OTIS in 2013, but also one non-scenic 1990 KONE M elevator and a 1990 KONE M scenic elevator (they were constructed during 1989 - 90 according to the signs that I found).
Everything is still completely original here, even the black bumpers are still intact. A must in Kajaani/Kajana!
