Japan Adventures: Otsu Matsuri 2016
Sorry for not posting for a while. It's been a busy month and a half, but I've finally put something together. I went to the Otsu Matsuri festival last weekend in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. It was a fantastic experience and I even got to see my fellow Shiga JETs pull the proverbial tanuki float Tanuki-Yama. I promise that this video is worth the wait.

芦生の森 トロッコ廃線路-4K Ultra HD Video【ASHIU FOREST】
京都府北部に位置する芦生原生林のトロッコ廃線跡をスタビライザーを使い撮影いたしました。
森林の静けさと小川のせせらぎが見事に合わさり幻想的な空間を作り出していました。

京都・嵐山の桜見ごろ ～渡月橋・天龍寺・トロッコ列車(cherry tree best time in Arashiyama)
桜で薄紅色に染まる嵐山。平安京の貴族たちが愛した景勝に地をを２０１６年４月４日、訪れました。桂川沿にに約1500本るという桜は満開でした。
桜越しに見る桂川と渡月橋はとても美しい。中洲をなす中ノ島には、枝垂れ桜やソメイヨシノなど幾多の桜が咲き誇る。橋上から川沿いの桜並木を見下ろすのもいいし、川岸から対岸の山桜と全長155ｍの渡月橋との壮麗な対比を眺めるのもいい。
世界遺産の天龍寺は、嵐山・嵯峨野の観光の中心。足利尊氏が夢窓疎石を開山に後醍醐天皇の菩提を弔うために建てられたのが始まり。嵐山を借景にした曹源池庭園は、日本初の国の史跡・特別名勝に指定された名庭園。枝垂桜、染井吉野、山桜、八重桜が咲き、百花苑の枝垂桜や望京の丘から見た桜は絵巻物のように美しい。約200本の桜が見ごろだった。
竹林を抜け、亀山公園から保津川（桂川）と嵐山を望む。嵐山は、あちらこちら桜色に染まっている。保津川下りの船や嵯峨野トロッコ列車も遠望できる。
トロッコ列車は、トロッコ嵯峨駅からトロッコ亀岡駅まで、片道7.3㌔を25分で運行する観光列車。保津川沿いを走る車内から、桜はもちろん保津川下りの船、渓谷美も堪能できる。

A weeping cherry tree, a Yosino cherry tree, a wild cherry tree and a double flowering cherry tree bloom, and the weeping cherry tree of en of hundred flowers and the cherry tree seen from a hill in Nozomi capital are beautiful like a picture scroll. About 200 cherry trees were best time.
It passes through Takebayashi and I wish for Hozu-gawa river (Keisen) and Ranzan from Kameyama park. Ranzan is dyed pink here and there. A ship of Hozu river rafting and Sagano lorry train can also be viewed from a distance.
The sightseeing train by which a lorry train runs between 7.3 kilos of one way in 25 minutes from lorry Saga station to lorry Kameoka station. It can also be satisfied with a ship of Hozu river rafting as well as a cherry tree and the canyon's beauty in the car which passes along Hozu-gawa river.

通过竹林，眺望从龟山公园保津川(桂川)和岚山。岚山，那边这边在樱花色上(里)染上。保津川下行的船和嵯峨野小火车也能远望。
小火车，是从手推车嵯峨站到手推车龟冈站，单程7.3k25分运行的旅游列车。从穿过保津沿河的车内，不用说樱花保津川下行的船，溪谷美也能技能熟练。
