Red River Gorge Vacation - 2
I realise that these two videos are going to be very long and boring to a lot of you. I mean, they're basically home movies :P Just don't leave nasty comments because I'm real sick of reading those.
If you ARE interested, hooray! My boyfriend, brother, and cousin all spent a day at the Gorge. I tried to get as much on video as possible but my camera battery eventually died and I had to resort to the video on my digital camera. First, we were on top of Star Gap Arch and then we took of a view of the arch from across the gap. Later in the day we were on top of Courthouse Rock. Since its winter, there isn't a lot of colour but there definetly are things that you'll never see any other time of year!
I don't get a lot of time off from work and school so whenever I can, I try to make it to the Gorge. A couple tanks of gas and round-trip 4-hour drive is worth the clearing of my cluttered mind when I can afford it. If you live anywhere near Slade, Kentucky, I highly recommend you take a day of vacation :)
