I photographed Paradise Springs on October 14, 2014. The dam for this two acre trout filled lake malfunctioned on June 19, 2015. Now the lake is mostly drained. Fortunately, this and other natural areas are nearby. Look for Scuppernong.

Along the rural and winding county road N in Eagle you can find you can stumble upon Paradise Springs, a natural area sited in the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest. The half mile paved trail leads you to a trout stream and spring house.

If you're into prairie hiking, Midewin is a nice place where you can see bison up close if you're lucky. We saw NONE. They must have all been in hiding..?. ;)
There are also old concrete bunkers here, some of which you can explore (the door will be open).
Beware of ticks and wild parsnip, and don't go on a hot day - a prairie means no shade! ;)

Kettle Moraine 100 (2019)
This is the Kettle Moraine 100 mile race. My race in 2019. Spectacular views of the Wisconsin forests and plains. Showcases the rain and mud of the event. How I enjoyed the first 62 miles, 15 hours 15 minuets then struggled in my pain cave to finish the final 32 miles in 14 hours for a finish of 29 hours, 27 minuets, 38 seconds. Overall a great experience.
Hiking Through Peninsula State Park, Wisconsin, USA
Camping on the peninsula between the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan. The colors in the trees have only turned about 50%, but it is still a lovely place to see.
