Description
Stormy Weather - Khancoban to Tooma
On a trip in April of 2011 I drove through the worst rainstorm I've ever experienced in my trips through this part of the country over the past six years.
This short clip is just a sample of what I experienced for over 30 minutes.
I refer to the Southern Cross - twice!!
I should be referring to its sister, the Southern Cloud. Sorry for the brain-fade!
This was a passenger aircraft that went down in similar conditions in the 1930s and remained undiscovered for three decades.
I can well understand just how that aircraft had its accident.
Here's some information on the incident:-
