Exploring Exmouth WA, one of Australia's best travel destinations
The Mrs. and I spent a glorious week swimming with whale sharks & hanging out with Kangarooms in Exmouth WA. It's our fourth trip to Exmouth and it's one of our favourite places in the whole world. So if you're looking for one of Australia's top holiday destinations, we'd highly recommend you make the journey to Exmouth.
Tour around Australia: Episode 5 - Coral bay & Exmouth
In this episode I visited Coral Bay & Exmouth. They are really awesome places in Western Australia for snorkeling and fishing. It's really awesome because the reef ( Ningaloo reef) is really close to the shore and you really don't need to take a long boat ride to see anything cool like you would at the Great Barrier reef.
I did some nice snorkeling at Five Fingers reef and Coral Bay, saw some amazing wildlife/fish, and took a whaleshark snorkeling tour with Kings Ningaloo Reef Tours. Really recommend these guys, I had a blast!

Better than the Great Barrier reef - Exmouth. Ep.63
We finally made it into Exmouth! With not to much research, we decided to stay at a van park in Exmouth for 2 nights. That quickly turned into 4 nights when we realised how much there was to see around the area.
For our first day we decided to head to Charlies Knife Canyon and check out the epic views it had. Just down the road from the canyon was the learmonth jetty were Kurt had a fish. Just down the road was the potshot memorial which had plenty to read about the defense history of exmouth.
That afternoon we decided to go for a little road trip up north of Exmouth, visiting the lighthouse and the mildura shipwreck. The next day tripped into Cape Range National Park. Visiting Turquoise Bay and Oysters Stacks.
The next day we went to the Whalebone Brewery. We order a tasting pallet and sat outside in the beer garden. A local musician was playing his guitar and it made for a really nice relaxing atmosphere. We then moved onto our next stop, Froth Craft Brewery. Another great little brewery and a nice chilled vibe. After sampling the local beers and choosing our favourites, we had a quick game of foosball (where we kicked Blaine & Shenaid butts!) before sensibly walking home to make ourselves dinner.

Cape Range National Park Exmouth WA Holiday & Travel Guide
The Cape Range National Park is a stunning natural expanse of canyons, gorges, limestone ranges and caves.
You can visit the eastern or western side of the range and it is best to head to the Milyering Visitors Centre first to get some maps information about the park.
There are a number of walking trails that you can embark on to follow along these ranges and canyons. If you do go for a trek along one of their tracks it is very important that you take sufficient water because it does get hot here and some of the walks are quite steep and go for many kilometers.
You might even be lucky enough to have a few unexpected guests walking along with you at some of the walking tracks, and we had a family of emus walking along in front of us.
Yardie Creek is a popular gorge and DEC run daily gorge tours and cruises up the creek. And Mandu Mandu offers spectacular views over this dry gorge once you have made it to the top of the steep tracks up the rugged canyon walls.
Exmouth 2016
My lovely friend Teal moved up to Exmouth in April of 2016, and this video is a snapshot of what we got up to in the two weeks that I was there. Thanks to everyone who made the trip amazing!
A special thanks to Kings Ningaloo Reef Tours for the incredible dive with the whale sharks! Hit them up if you get up there for a dive:

Ningaloo Reef Whale Sharks, Exmouth, Western Australia
Whale Sharks migrate to Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia (WA) every year, giving visitors to Exmouth a once-in-a-lifetime swim with the largest fish in the world's oceans.
This is one of few places on Earth where these gentle giants come so close to shore, and in July 2013 Tourism Western Australia joined Hans and his wife on a Ningaloo whale shark tour from Exmouth WA to share this truly humbling encounter.
These harmless filter feeders can grow up to 16 metres (52.5 feet) in length, with a mouth spanning over a metre -- an awe-inspiring sight that Hans could only describe as one of the greatest experiences of his life. Their visit also brought Hans and his wife face-to-fin with other incredible marine life of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef -- the largest fringing reef on Earth.
In striking contrast, a cruise through the rugged red gorge of Yardi Creek in Cape Range National Park, offered a chance to relax and enjoy the stillness and natural beauty of Exmouth, and to spot a hopping rock wallaby or two.
From mid-March to late July, visitors can experience the thrill of swimming with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, with daily whale shark tours operating from Exmouth WA.
