This video is an introduction of the Kinta Tin Mining (Gravel Pump) Museum located in Kampar, Perak, Malaysia. This is a production of a group of UTAR's students during their internship in the Museum. They are Ms Lai Jin Yee, Ms Yong Man Yee (both from Journalism Dept) and Mr Lo Kah Seng (from Chinese Study Dept). We hope you like this video and make an effort to visit the museum.

叶亚来
叶亚来(1837-1885)，又称叶德来，叶亚来是他担任马来西亚吉隆坡甲必丹（当地最高掌权人）时用的名字，也有人称他叶来。
1837年农历二月初八，广东惠州人，叶亚来出生于现广东省惠州市惠阳区秋长镇周田村，是马来西亚首都吉隆坡开埠功臣。1869年从吉隆坡第二任甲必丹刘壬光手中接过棒子，协助管理吉隆坡，成为吉隆坡甲必丹，他也被称为“吉隆坡王”。
册封仪式由苏丹代表拉惹玛赫蒂主持。1883年，被清政府“例授中宪大夫叶茂兰敕赠三代”。至今，吉隆坡仍保留“叶亚来街”及他的塑像。
Kapitan China Yap Ah Loy, also known as Yap Tet Loy and Yap Mao Lan, is an important figure of early Kuala Lumpur. He served as the third Kapitan China of Kuala Lumpur, and in this administrative capacity, played an important role in developing the city as a commercial and mining centre during the 19th century.

Second year teambuilding organised for Great Heart Charity Association! Participants were tasked to find the Lost Treasure of Great Heart around the township of Kampar that brings them to Gua Kandu, Kellie's Castle, UTAR, Tin Mining Museum, and Grand Kampar Hotel, while learning the importance of TRUST and TEAMWORK in a team!
