Nakanoshima (中之島) is a 3 km long and 50 hectares narrow sandbank in Kita-ku, Osaka city, Japan, that divides the Kyū-Yodo River into the Tosabori and Dōjima rivers. Many governmental and commercial offices (including the city hall of Osaka), museums and other cultural facilities are located on Nakanoshima.
Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library (大阪府立中之島図書館 Ōsaka Furitsu Nakanoshima Toshokan) is a major library in the Nakanoshima section of Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.It was established in 1904; and is today one of two libraries which are supported by the Osaka Prefectural government.

Osaka Station is a major railway station in the Umeda district of Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It forms the city's main rail terminal in the north.
Osaka Station and its underground counterprt Umeda Station, effectively part of the same complex, together constitute the busiest station in Western Japan, serving 2,343,727 passengers daily in 2005, and the fourth-busiest railway station in the world.
Housed within the bright, modern shopping complex of Osaka Station City, Osaka Station is the biggest and busiest station in Western Japan. Closely connected to six neighboring satellite stations, it sits at the heart of a vital and vibrant transportation network that has helped to make the surrounding Umeda district Osaka’s preeminent center of business enterprise and opportunity.
Osaka Train station occupies the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors in the center of Osaka Station City. Bookending the station at its north and south entrances are two towering buildings: the North Gate Building and South Gate Building. In these buildings are department stores, restaurants, and other leisure and entertainment facilities. The two buildings are linked at ground level by the station concourses and there are also two bridges that run between the buildings at the 3rd floor and 5th floor levels. From these bridges you can watch the trains coming and going on the rail tracks below. Arching over these bridges and protecting the platforms below from the elements is a spectacular domed roof of glass and steel.

Suicide Forest in Japan (Full Documentary)
The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year.
The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently.

Nakanoshima is an area where central administrative functions such as the Osaka City Hall gather, but old buildings such as the Osaka City Central Public Hall and the Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library are gathered, and buildings designated as important cultural properties are also highlight areas .
Osaka City Central Public Hall was completed in 1918. Designed by Japanese architects Tatsuno Kingo and Kataoka Yasushi.
In particular, Tatsuno Kingo is famous as a person who designed many buildings of modern Japanese architecture, and representative examples include the Bank of Japan head office and Tokyo Station.

The Nakanoshima Park (中之島公園 Nakanoshima kōen) is the first public park opened by Osaka in 1891, after its foundation as a city. It is located in Kita ward, on the Nakanoshima (中之島) sandbank, lying between Dōjima and Tosabori Rivers. The 11 hectare park houses public facilities such as Osaka Central Public Hall, Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library and Museum of Oriental Ceramics. It also holds a rose garden. The City Hall of Osaka building is located on its west end.
Osaka (Japanese: 大阪市 Hepburn: Ōsaka-shi, commonly just 大阪, Ōsaka) is a designated city in the Kansai region of Japan. It is the capital city of Osaka Prefecture and the largest component of the Keihanshin Metropolitan Area, the second largest metropolitan area in Japan and among the largest in the world with over 19 million inhabitants. Osaka will host Expo 2025. The current mayor of Osaka is Ichiro Matsui.
Senzoku-ike Park TOKYO JAPAN
Senzoku ike (pond) in Tokyo Japan across from the Senzoku-ike station on the Tokyu Ikegami train line. Close to Jiyugaoka, Meguro, and Gotanda. Tokodai (Tokyo Institute of Technology) nearby. There are two separate temple grounds on this lake, and a small island with its own shrine. There is also a public library with a cafe with indoor and out door seating next to the lake and temple grounds.
What a Japanese River Park is Like
Ok, not every Japanese park is like this, but you can definitely find these river parks throughout Tokyo. Even though name on the sign for the park says river park, it's more like a stream park.
The video actually starts off by showing you what a park found underneath a bridge or elevated train tracks looks like. Since space is limited, you'll often find little playgrounds under such structures.
The vast majority of parks I've encountered in Japan come standard with a water fountain, water tap, and bathroom facilities. So, if you find yourself in Japan and are in need of refreshments or relief, you can usually find it at a park.
If you're in Tokyo, it's a good bet that you're close to a konbini, which is what convenient stores are called in Japan. There you can get all sorts of fresh and packaged foods, as well as refreshments and washroom facilities.
The river park we walked along is very pleasant, and every, single piece of it is landscaped and maintained. Despite the intense human touch, the unnatural nature is still pleasant to stroll along. Even though some parts of Tokyo look like a concrete jungle, I'm glad that there are areas like this that act as an oasis from the hustle and bustle of metropolis life.
If you visit the water park in the summer, the maintenance crew will have screwed on the taps for the showers that are found at several water play areas. So make sure to take some gear that can get wet and some towels if you go.
