Kitesurf trip to discover the Dutch Caribbean Island of Aruba.
This trip was one of the best trips I had.

9 Days in Aruba - Kitesurfing in the Caribbean
9 days in Aruba discovering this beautiful island in the middle of the Caribbean. Our trip was Mid-, End of August 2019, We had an amazing weather and wind every day in the main spots. We filmed at the end of the trip which is why it seems a little bit more cloudy.
Our favorite spots in this order were: Grapefield Beach (close to Boca Grandi) with shallow waters. Boca Grandi (a little bit of swell but nice constant on shore wind), Baby beach (you have to arrive at 7am before the tourists come here to spend the day), Fisherman Huts (beautiful place but super gusty). If you are looking to practice yoga give island yoga a try - their lessons were awesome! Best Acai Bowl in the kisland - Eduardo's Shack. Best Bowl - Happy Bowl.

Wave hunting in Aruba | Episode 25
In this episode the Parlay Revival crew sail their hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 from Curacao, to Aruba, where they go on the hunt for waves, and score a few days of fun surf in the north of the island! While there they also dive on an old shipwreck called the Antilles.
But always learning, they mistakenly anchor a little too close to the surf, which rolls them around for a while before snapping their anchor bridal, where they are forced to relocate a little further away from the surf. They then prepare for their longest passage to date, to Colombia!!
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged 2012 Lagoon 450 Catamaran bought in Tortola, BVI at the beginning of 2018. Colin and his friend spent 4 months getting her seaworthy, before setting sail across the Caribbean. Follow our journey as we continue to fix her and eventually circumnavigate the globe!

Aruba's clear blue water and constant trade winds make it one of the premier spots in the world for wind sports, so of course when we were down there shooting a few months ago, I had to get some shots with some pros who were in town. I think we got some pretty epic footage. :)

Kite Spot Review: Aruba
This little gem of the Caribbean is pretty much kitesurfing heaven. The wind here is year-round reliable, not just the normal winter trade winds. The water is crystal clear and the beaches are beautiful as well. In the north you have a huge offshore flatwater playground, but with gusty wind from the overland wind and all the big hotels. Challenge Family presents: Challenge Aruba 2016
Challenge Family announces its newest addition to the global series of long distance triathlons on the spectacular Caribbean island of Aruba, the One Happy Island.
Set over the half distance, CHALLENGEARUBA will take place on 23 October on the One Happy Island of Aruba with its crystal clear blue waters, pearly white beaches and balmy Caribbean climate – the perfect combination for a race in paradise!
The CHALLENGEARUBA course stands out not just for its beauty but for its speed, variety and quality. With a 1.9km swim is a single lap course in the clear warm Caribbean sea in front of the famous Palm Beach. The undulating 90km bike course is over four laps along the coastline, passing through some of the island’s most popular beaches before heading to the famous lighthouse of Aruba.
The run-course is entirely along the white beaches of Aruba. Three laps which alternate between the boulevard (The Strip) and the path on the beach in front of the exclusive hotels of Aruba that join the Palm Beach Area. The finish line will be situated on the boulevard at The Hyatt Regency Resort.
A sprint distance race will also be available for athletes who would rather keep it short and sweet. The sprint consists of a 750m swim, followed by a 22,5km cycle and finally a 7 km run.
Operating under the motto “Your Challenge is Our Challenge” the CHALLENGEARUBA team aims to provide participants and their families with a complete holiday that goes beyond hosting the best triathlon event. As well as the half and sprint distance races, there is an extensive and varied program of additional activities to ensure that triathletes and their companions get the most out of their stay.
Festivities will kick-off in the best way Aruba knows, an exotic beach party! Enjoy an extensive buffet with a variety of dishes while listening to a local-band adding a Caribbean flair on the moonlit beach. Sticking with the beach-theme, post-race will be a lavish beach and pool award party at the prestigious Hyatt Resort.
There will be plenty to do pre and post-race as well, making CHALLENGEARUBA the perfect ‘race-cation’ destination. For total relaxation, alabaster beaches and gentle seas are good for the soul. Or rock your world with wet ‘n wild adventures, deep sea diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing, even parasailing and sky diving! Tee off on a championship golf course, saddle up on horseback, take a tour, or hike through Arikok National Park and discover the island’s fascinating natural wonders, from rock formations to natural bridges.
