After the craziness of Wanderlust, it's nice to slow down and decompress! We finally made it to the Island and have set up camp for the week we take some much needed time to relax, have fun, play some tunes and explore the campground and the near by town Courtenay.

It was a sunny but windy day when we drove to Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens to see the hundreds, if not thousands, of blooming rhododendrons. The wind was strong enough to set the giant wind chimes in motion while we were there. The sounds were very peaceful and added to the tranquility of the forest atmosphere.
