清水寺は、不思議な構造をもった寺ですね。
下半分が、プラットフォーム（舞台）、上半分が寺という構造です。
なぜそうなのかということについて、考えてみます。
すべてをＵＦＯに結びつけて考えるのは、正しくないかもしれませんが、では、なぜ寺がその上にあるかということも、これまた謎です。
出雲大社についても、同じことが言えます。
塔の上に、神社が当然あったようなことになっていますが、本当にそうでしょうか。
ここでは、一度、私たちがもつ常識を疑ってみたいと思います。
本当に私たちがもっている常識は、正しい者でしょうか。

And here are these pictures of a diagram of the restored shrine of Izumo Taisha.
But who said there used to be a shrine on the top of the tower?
I mean that very often our common sense would mislead us to a wrong way.
Or is it wrong to think that it was a simple, or just a platform with nothing on it?
I have no actual facts or evidences that prove my hypothesis to be correct.
What I am thinking is just an imaginary hypothesis.
But they also have no evidences to prove their hypothesis to be correct.
Wasn't the tower shrine a platform for the flying vehicles, which we call now UFO's?
Wasn't the Kiyomizu Temple or the platform on which Kiyomizu Temple was built a just platform for UFO's?
This is not my common sense, or do you have any evidences to say that I am wrong?

Kyoto, Japan Street Food Vlog
When traveling through Japan, my husband and I visited Kyoto as one of our destinations. In Kyoto, Japan we visited many of the temples and shrines that the city had to offer. After visiting and exploring Fushimi Inari-taisha we ran into an area where food was being served from carts, which was perfect since we were starving. We were able to try some Japanese street food and I was so excited! The first bit of Japanese street food we had was Takoyaki. Takoyaki is a Japanese food dish typically known to be from Osaka, which is very close by train to Kyoto, which is why we were probably able to get some of this deliciousness as Kyoto street food. The process of cooking Takoyaki is a skillfull art, and I was thoroughly impressed by the process it took to create the dish. The second bit of Kyoto street food I was able to eat was buttery delicious crab legs. These crab legs were boiled and then lightly grilled to perfection, and were just the perfect treat to have after exploring the beautiful Fushimi Inari-taisha. Toyokuni Shrine, dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi!
Dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Toyokuni Shrine is popularly and affectionately known as Hokoku-san.
After his death in 1598 at the age of 63, Hideyoshi's body was interred in accordance with his wishes halfway up Amidagamine, a mountain located east of Kyoto, and a magnificent mausoleum and shrine was built, its base (present day Hokokubyo Taikodaira). The emperor Goyozei granted the shrine rank of Shoichii and bestowed upon its god the name Toyokuni Daimyojin, and the shrine held a particular magnificent festival to mark the seventh anniversery of Hideyoshi's death in August 1604. These events are recorded in some detail on a painted folding screen called the Hokuni Rinjisairezu Byobu, an important Cultural Asset.

Kyoto Festival: Fire Ritual in Hirogawara Kyoto (Matsuage)
A countryside tradition that highlights customs of the more rural areas of Japan, Matsu-age festivals are held in three outlying villages in Kyoto during the month of August. This year the Kyoto Fan team headed to a village about an hour north of Kyoto called Hirogawara to take part in their Matsu-age, which has been carefully preserved by the local people for centuries as a ritual to commemorate local fire deity Atago Daimyojin and pray for good crops and the health of the villagers.
Held annually on August 24th, Hirogawara's Matsu-age begins around 8:30 at night. In order to hold the festival a log of Japanese cedar is used to construct a tall pillar about 20m high with a large bundle of kindling on the top. Over the course of the festival the local men hurl flaming torches up at this pillar trying to light it on fire, bring it crashing to the ground, and then stoke the remaining flames until they finally die out in the darkness. Returning back to your modern lives after this timeless celebration from rural Japan will be a challenge!

Let's Play Civilization 5 - Part 46: Entering Kyoto!
This is the 46th part of my Let's Play Civilization 5 series.
As Napoleon searches for a way to increase the income of his empire, he continues his rampage against the Japanese. He focuses his attention on Kyoto, the Japanese captital. Will Oda Nobunaga be able to stand against the assault?

祇園祭宵山のついでに市内の京都らしい建物と本能寺の境内などを歩いてきました。
Kyoto Festival: Fire Festival at Fushimi Inari Taisha (Ōhitakisai)
On a crisp day in early November the Kyoto Fan team took a trip to Fushimi Inari Taisha, one of the most famous shrines in the whole city. With the harvest season at an end, it was time for the Ōhitaki Fire Festival!
Being the head shrine for the 30,000 plus Inari Shrines around the country, Fushimi Inari attracts a great number of visitors and parishioners from around Japan, and many come to Kyoto to participate in this event. The first part of the ritual begins in the shrine's main hall where priests present offerings of food and drink, the head priest reads prayers aloud, priestesses perform a sacred kagura dance to classic gagaku music, and the priests lead those gathered in paying their respects to the deity Inari.
From 13:00 the priests and parisioners move on to a cleared space on the shrine grounds where three bonfires have been set up. Once everyone is assembled the fires are simulatenously lit. Once the smoke clears priests begin tossing bundles of prayer sticks in to fires in large, dramatic throws, scattering the wishes of Inari shrine visitors in to the fire. A copy of the purification prayer is passed out in the crowd so that not only the priests, but any attendee who wants to participate can join in on the sacred prayer chanted for everyone’s good health, fortune, and the country’s prosperity.
The heat and flames provide a dramatic backdrop as priests undertake cleansing rituals in front of each fire using water, salt, and sakaki leaves, and sacred kagura dances are performed intermittedly by shrine priestesses carrying golden bells. Slowly the mass of prayer sticks assembled before the ritual date begins to dwindle until the last word of the prayer rings out and the fire ritual ends. Set against the autumn sky and foliage, it's said that this ritual and the fires calls to Inari to come back to Mt. Inari to rest for the winter months after its hard work in the rice fields during the harvest- and it certainly called to us as well!
