Exploring Kushiro, travel by train from Abashiri
The Senmo line connects Abashiri and Kushiro in the east of Hokkaido. In this video we take a trip on the line and visit Kushiro. The lines future is not 100% certain so I decided to take a trip on it before it closes.

We traveled by public transport, mostly by Shinkansen. The #Shinkansen is the high speed train of Japan. The Shinkansen drive with a speed up to 300 km/h. We took a JR-pass for the Shinkansen and the Japan Rail ( #jr ) trains. From Kumamoto to Aso was temporarily no train connection. We took the bus to Aso and the return to Kumamoto.

Yoshino National Park 吉野熊野国立公園
吉野熊野国立公園は奈良県の中央部。 2004年7月には吉野山・高野山から熊野にかけての霊場と参詣道が『紀伊山地の霊場と参詣道』としてユネスコの世界遺産に登録された。
We went to Yoshino to do some walking and get some fresh air in the mountains, as well as experience the amazing temples & shrines in the area. The Yoshino-Kumano National Park became a UNESCO World Heritage Site (including UNESCO World Heritage Site Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.) in 2004.
