JAPAN VLOGS - Kyoto Day One. Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto Temples and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
Welcome to this new series of JAPAN VLOGS!!! Join me every Wednesday 5pm for a new vlog. I film every day from our trip in September 2019 showing you Kyoto, Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Mount Fuji, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea. Hope you enjoy!!
It is our first full day in Kyoto! We are staying at the Dormy Inn near Kyoto Station so we have breakfast at Mister Donut at the station. We get on the JR line and head to Fushimi Inari Shrine. We spent the morning there going up thousands of steps and seeing some incredible views. Then we go back to Kyoto station and get the bus to Kinkakuji temple aka the Golden temple or golden pavilion. Next temple is Ryoanji temple. We then go to Ninnaji Temple. We head to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, try bamboo and cherry blossom ice cream! On the way back to Kyoto Station we stop off at Nijo castle at night. We eat near Nijo castle, try some funky flavoured kit kats and then head home! Hope you enjoy!! So many things to do in Kyoto!!!

A half day tour in Kyoto is very very short. It's BEST If you can stay longer.
I went solo to Japan last November 2016. Here's some of my half day itinerary video in Kyoto.
I was not able to go to the Bamboo Forest because I got lost :(
I was very very close but I did not find it.
Because of that, I'm definitely coming back.

KYOTO DAY TOUR FROM OSAKA: A DIY ITINERARY
Osaka is a city that appears to look forward to the future; Kyoto seems to bask in its glorious past. Osaka is bustling and electric; Kyoto is charming and rustic. Regardless of their differences, the two are well-connected in many ways. During our recent time in Japan, we visited Kyoto for 48 hours staying in a traditional Japanese Ryokan, Nishiyama, in the city centre.
For one day, thanks to insidejapantours.com I had a fantastic tour guide, Mr Tenaka, who took us to the main tourist sights in Kyoto.
Including: Arashiyama, Tenryu-Ji Temple, Bamboo Grove, Keifuku Tram and Kyoto Buses, Kinkaku-Ji Golden Temple, Imperial Palace, Kamo River and Gion District.
We also experienced some local food and traditions during our time in Kyoto.

We started the morning off with the Bamboo Forest completely to ourselves (kind of..) before heading on to Arashiyama Snow Monkey Park. After that we hiked the Fushimi Inari shrine all the way to the top!

Japan Vlogs Day 9 - 1 Day Kyoto Perfect Tour - Fushimi Inari, Bamboo Forest & Golden Temple
Welcome back to our Japan vlog series! It is finally our last full day in Japan, but we have a big adventure planned for today in stunning Kyoto!
We booked our trip via the Klook app (more details below) as it covered off many of the different locations we would love to visit in Kyoto by bus. We also had a fantastic tour guide and a very tasty lunch in a traditionally Japanese restaurant near the Arashiyama Sagano forest.

Fushimi Inari Shrine (one thousand vermillion gates!)
Arashiyama (Bamboo Forest)
Tenryu-ji Temple
Kinkaku-ji Temple (The Golden Temple!)
This was really a perfect day for us, and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! If you are thinking of visiting Japan with limited time to see the sights then this trip could really be great for you!
We also briefly visit the Pokemon Centre in Osaka - but you're not really allowed to film inside!

I start this japan travel vlog kyoto and osaka from Yodoyabashi station, Osaka to Demachiyanagi station, Kyoto by Keihan Double Decker Express Train to explore Kyoto Islamic Cultural Centre and Kyoto Castle (Unfortunately it's rain ans we cancel it) and also have lunch at Salman and Sahel Kitchen Halal.
